    Hi all, mine are:

    1) just watching DD entertain herself but colouring in and being crafty, while I'm sat on here!!
    2) yet another free lunch at work - we are doing well for this at the moment.
    3) seeing the big pile of ironing I have done, which has all been dried without the aid of a tumble dryer.
    4) cutting DD's hair yesterday to be told that it looks good and I had done a good job - another £10 saved (yes everyone, my hairdresser charges £10 for kids!!).
    5) Just generally being happy that I have my little family and a lovely boyfriend to make my life feel good at the moment.

    Thanks for reading xx

Evening all. My 5 for today:
1 Lovely sunshine here today - the hills look so pretty
2 The nice lady in the opticians in our village who fixed my glasses for me - i'd lost a screw and she went out of her way to replace it and mend them for me for free.
3 Getting 2 interviews for jobs I really want - not very OS but I'm still mighty chuffed
4 Lamb shanks slow roasting in the oven, half price wine and whoopsie sweetcorn as a starter
5 Listening to my OH playing his guitar downstairs while I sit ad knit with the cat.

    blessings to all.

    Hi everyone.

    My five for today:

    1. Almost one year old DGD who stayed the night sleeping til 7 this morning - she's usually ready to take on the world by 6!
    2. Hairdresser coming and commenting that I look as if I've lost some more weight! I have lost almost 6 stone over the last couple of years and now decided to lose the last stubborn 20lbs.
    3. Buying all my fruit and veg for the week from the local market and saving a fortune in the process.
    4. Doing food inventory and realising I only need to buy bread and milk for next 3 weeks - that will boost the holiday fund a bit!
    5. DH huge smile when I told him had made apple and blackberry crumble for his pud!
  • Good evening folks, mine for today are:
    1) Finishing my first library book (Shane Richie; Rags to Richie) since I rejoined after 15 years absence, and looking forward to getting my next book.
    2) Not opening up our shop today as Wednesdays are very slow, spending some quality time with my DH instead. A modest saving on electric & petrol.
    3) Made sausage casserole from reduced 'posh' sausages - yum!
    4) Made a batch of Twink's hobnobs
    5) Made my first ever batch of muffins (coffee & walnut) and being proud that my first attempt was a good one :D
