The daughter in law to be (they are not yet wed) has told people she wants another child even though they can just afford to keep a three year old. It would be a disaster if this happened and my hubby thinks so too. My SS would like to get out of rental property and buy and if she got her way it could not happen. Their son is not yet out of nappies and she just could not cope so I think it might be wise to inform the local social services and im only thinking of the present childs and not yet born childs interests.

Unless they are living in abject squalor, the child is malnourished or being abused then social services will not interfere with the family.

Stop meddling yourself as you have no more grounds to interfere than social services would. They are a family and it is up to them to decide where they want to live and whether they wish to have any more children.

I really don't understand how you can justify your awful attitude towards your step sons partner as nothing you have said about her sounds more than petty spite on your part.

I can only assume you must have hit the "ignore" button next to the name of every contributor to your threads about this girl as everything that has been said seems to have gone right over your head.

I intend to tell social services she is unstable and this has been confirmed by a doctor. My SS does not want another one for a good few years but again she does not listen. I am not being awful and I am only considering contacting then I have not actually done so yet.

Look far closer to home for the unstable person!!!!

The GP has not confirmed anything of the sort, he has referred her to mental health for reasons unknown to you...You really are a hateful person....

I can only hope the OP is a troll. I don't think I've ever come across a real person that is so vile and twisted :(

The more the op posts the more it's becoming evident she herself is mentally unstable, op have you seen your GP because your world will implode one day with only yourself to blame... It's also seems like you are jealous of the girl....Is it because she has the younger version of your older husband? If you can't offer complete sincere support for her then back off none of them are your business.

Would like to think so but from previous posts regarding her employment etc it.
I find it hilarious though that she has painted a picture of a girl who is suffering from depression, and made it obvious it's herself that is suffering from mental instability.

... or because she has a child and the OP doesn't.

OP I hope you are aware that when you ring SS making ridiculous allegation of 'Munchausens' it stays on that persons file forever even if they realise the person who made the call is a crazy or just being malicious, whether their claims are unfounded or not.. maybe you should think twice before bandying around illnesses you clearly have absolutely no knowledge or experience of and are incapable of diagnosing yourself.

I know people who take their children to the GP or the hospital with every tiny sneeze and sniffle and bump just because she is different to how you think she should be doesn't mean she has mental health issues.

Maybe she wants someone to say.. well stay home and look after your child rather than her feeling forced to go out to work to pay for childcare only to miss important milestones and her child.. there is nothing wrong with wanting to raise your own child rather than pay others to do it!

  • :( To listen to this woman sobbing on the sofa while you stayed in the kitchen talking with your husband and his son behind her back. Well words fail me.

I would have been in there with my arms around her trying to comfort her.

If all this is true I would not be surprised if she does not have post natal depression that has not been picked up and has paranoid thoughts alongside it.

You must be devoid of any feeling to post all this personal information about someone who is so vulnerable. Shame on you!
