  • HB I remember your research and I think its lovely that you honour him in this way. I didnt know today was significant in the war either.

CY oh dear. You just couldnt make it up could you? Hope a new hob can be installed soon.

Pigpen hope the salmon was a success if you have eaten it by now. I wouldnt have had a clue either!

Well nothing much achieved today again - but I did have a 45 minute catch up with my brother on the phone while he was stuck in a massive traffic jam. How I miss him, and we always promise that we will speak more often and never do.

Well done on the walking Nicki. People often underestimate how good it is for you.

Right, I am done for the day I think. Going to kick DS2 out of the LR so we can watch some telly.

  • Ha, emergency list done, I can relax a bit.
OH walked dog, but I've crossed it off as if I've done it :D

    [STRIKE]Load DW
    WM on
    Clear work tops
    Clear table
    Wipe them all
    S & S
    Cook tea[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Walk dog
    Emergency tidy of all rooms
    Quick Hoover through
Wipe dusty piano then play it for a bit - me time![/STRIKE]

Nicki it's amazing to think you have walked across Europe! I love walking but I know if it wasn't for the dog I wouldn't find time to do it.
DD2 has had the most astonishing tantrum because she didn't want to go to bed. They were playing a very involved game of vets, many cuddlies bandaged up etc, but I just couldn't let them stay up any longer. Cue about 30 minutes solid of hysteria. She said through the tears at one point "this is the worst day of my life" which I'm afraid I couldn't help laughing at which didn't help:)

    :T Now THAT'S a mantra!

Been out again (two nights in a row - anyone would think it was my birthday;))

But before I went out I stripped my bed, remade it and vacuumed the cleared bedroom floor. Much rehoming/new homing going on too:cool:

Happy Anniversary Mr and mrs CY, I hope you feel well enough to enojoy it.

Happy Birthday Valli hope you hav a good day.

DS3 is not well, this means the plans for today need to change as nno point going to a NT trust place chosen as he'd enjoy it. Hoping he will be well enough to go tomorrow. DH has gone on a run for now. Hopefully he can contact the ebayer seller and can get the car bonnet instead.

    WM is on
Time for another cuppa and I'll clean the sinks whilst drinking that and then have a shower and see if I can get the blind down to wash.
