The children do know. I think it will be ok. Mum called back and said she's being daft, they will go, she was just worried about work. So just need to check with MIL and I'll call them back for the other date.

It's actually a better date, in my opinion ;)

Beavers was an absolute farce. We had relocated to local HQ as school had double booked. But the key holder never arrived so we were locked out. Ended up moving everyone to a park to set up mini-olympics but cut the night short as it was so dark (school or HQ would have been floodlit).

Everything ready for morning, but not a lot else done as it was a late kiddie bedtime. Have written instructions for my ma who is babysitting this weekend. She is doing the school run too so needed a list of what bags etc need to come home, what DD needs for ballet, what food I have planned and where various coats and sweaters etc are. Lol.

I'm almost packed but I never did find any shoes. Got a nice poncho-type sweater though!

Need to be at M&S friends for 11 and want to go via another shoe place so will leave about 9.30 I think.

    Evening all.

It's been one of those days today where you look at the clock and it says 9am, then you look again a second later and its 10am! So today's flying has been dailies and a loaf in the breadmaker, which collapsed as I didn't have enough bread flour so used some cheap stuff :( Bread flour is now on the shopping list. I'm also thinking I need to get a Mr A delivery booked to stock up on bulky and heavy stuff. Last one was 6th July so I've done well :D Other than that I've been working. I'll have to put a couple of days extra work in next week as well to get some admin up to date. I could have sworn I'd already done it but I haven't :(

Friday is errands day with DD. We have 21 Christmas Cards to buy tomorrow for various family members, but once thats done DD doesn't need to be actually involved in any of the other shopping ;) I also need to take her to look at new school shoes already! She's worn one of the heels right down so there's a hole, and I doubt the style she has can be repaired. On the plus side she has started wearing other shoes to and from school to save the wear to her school shoes. I wouldn't mind but she's only actually been in school 13 days. Its not that the shoes aren't fit for purpose, its just that she is very heavy on shoes and wears them out fast. Having said that I need to go and buy new trainers as I've worn mine nearly smooth with all the walking I've been doing. According to my fitbit I've walked 1,031.54 miles since 27th January! :D

Right, I best get to bed. Flying tomorrow will consist of just dailies again probably :o

Blitzed the downstairs before the school run.after dinner I noticed Thre was quite a lit of stuff out (from the kids!). So I bribed them with bedtime story and they ran around tidying up so we could all have story together. I begrudge going it again when I'd spent all afternoon doing it!

I said the same to OH tonight and said I expected the living room to be in the same condition as when he came home from work. He has a bit of a habit of leaving a trail of destruction! Didn't bribe him with a bedtime story though. So place not looking too bad. Our room is a tip so that is a priority for tomorrow and clean the bathrooms.

    Morning all

    Flying limited but have:
Got rid of 3 large sack of stuff to CS (via sister)
Ordered 2 new pillows (been meaning to do this for ages)
Changed toothbrushes and ordered more (need to check if DS3 needs some too)

Pilates today and need to decide what to do tomorrow as our anniversary, plan to go out in the day with the boys but DH might want to pick up a new car bonnet and I want a need new large flower pot (romatnic us or what) so need to plan carefully.

I think Sunday will be my flying day.

I've created a Toots list of things that need doing or buying ideally before the end of the year.

  • Morning,

Up and at em! Going to get dailies done before paid stuff, as well as getting dressed, getting DD1's face painted with sugar skull, getting DD2 dressed as Roman lady, making one packed lunch, and getting a form filled in for school. All I have done so far is eat breakfast.

Nicki that is a lot of walking, find out where you would have got to if you had done it in a straight line!
