Ds1 has purchased the cheapest phone in town. This gives me time to work out what to do.

AF has just shown up more than 80 day gap. Perhaps she went around the world. I thought that was it.

DH is off Thursday and Friday. I plan to take him to dumelm. We need new pillows and a mat for the hall.

Ds2' home/school diary had a message in it asking which spelling group he should be in. The list of spellings had a correction in it and someone couldn't spell "tomorrow". I do worry sometimes.

7 hours of paperwork done. You can't see any difference.
  • Morning everyone

Here in spirit. I only managed to do the basics yesterday but we will see what today brings. Need to get a shower, kick DS1 out of bed, make lunch/breakfast, hang washing out and get myself to work!

    See you all later.
  • Morning all
Hugs and coping vibes to all who need them
Busy morning got a dentist run with ds2 to get his retainer now the brace is off.
Ds3 came round last night to clear some more of her toys she's been selling on the bay of E, the carpet in her old room isslowlybecoming visible again as the mountain of bags shifts!

Better go and start shifting the lads, need to get one off to work and the other ready for the taxi, I did remember to ring school last night to say he'd be late in so hopefully won't get a snotty late text.

Changed all bedding and got it washed and dried which was a bit of a bonus ;) Just got to iron it now so maybe I will get that done tomorrow.

Good morning! Pouring with rain here in Essex. Plan was to walk DD2 to school with muttley but muttley doesn't do rain!

I didn't do much flying yesterday so will tackle the list this morning. I spent 4 hours completing a job application yesterday (its so time consuming).

I need to get up! Look at the time!

    Morning all

Just spent HH updating all my diary appointments on my phone to get an email changing one. School do not seem to realise that Governors work too.

Plan is a mix of paperwork and flying with a walk with friend later. Supposed to be seeing another friend later but expect her to cancel as her sister is very poorly so my own sister may visiti instead.

Expensive item I have on ebay has a bid, this is good news.

    Breakfast next for me.

    Morning all.

I had a really productive day yesterday and managed to do a basic clean right through. I had literally just put the last mouthful of my tea in my mouth & my friend turned up to fix the shower an hour earlier than he said! Cue world war three from our dog who does not like strangers in the house :( Thankfully my friend has experience working with rescue dogs so he just took it all in his stride and got on with the job for free :D I'm going to bake him a cake or something to say thanks as I hate being in debt to someone and he wouldn't let me pay him anything. :o

Work today collecting books this morning, dentist with DD this afternoon (she finishes at lunch time today), more book collecting & a delivery to make this evening and I need to go to one of the Mr's for milk, bread & fruit!

Going to update my list as I might have time over the weekend to do some more jobs. Well, that's the theory.

    Master bedroom
    - Organise wardrobe again

    Morning!

Home from school run, rather dripping :( ah well. I cracked on and in just 15min I emptied and reloaded DW, Put a wash on, cleared and wiped all the counters, wiped the cooker top and sink. And put lots of gubbins away. Waiting for the WM to finish, will need to dry indoors today I think!

Then I'm heading out to the shopping centre. My casual shoes I wear for school run, shopping etc need replacing. They are well worn and my feet just got rather wet. So I think it's time to say bye-bye and get something sturdy now the inclement weather seems set. I also want a long sleeve tshirt for layering. Been feeling the cold lately.

Then I will tackle my bedroom and pack...

  • Morning all - just catching up with last night's Bake Off, which I missed due to being asleep.

Didn't feel right yesterday, so ended up at the hospital being checked out. Thankfully they didn't keep me in, but have given me yet more meds to help with the stomach side of things. I have been able to eat today which is progress.

Sister is still causing stress by trying to help. Apparently she has bought us a new dishwasher. But it isn't the right size for our kitchen. And we have nowhere to store it - despite having a 26' garage it is a real struggle to get DD2'S bike in there at the moment. I have asked if she can amend the order so we might have a chance of getting it in.
