Oh Natty, I'm so sorry to hear about Scruffy. *hugs* and thinking of you all.
Had a very unsuccessful day's flying yesterday as a uni friend I've not seen for ages was in town and asked if OH and I wanted to meet up for a drink. Cue then not getting home until 11PM and I was so tired that all I could bring myself to do was an S&S of the bathroom and kitchen. So the bathroom is on my list for the weekend.
However, today is a new day, so onwards and upwards! OH is going to the France-Romania rugby match at the Olympic Stadium with our ex-flatmate tonight which will hopefully give me time to do plenty of flying.

How is it Wednesday already?
Only skim read the thread so hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes and I know there's a belated Happy Birthday in there as wellNothing is sticking, sorry.

I have a friend coming round tonight to do a job for me. They haven't been round for quite a while so I want the place cleanSo today, as soon as I've paid bills, I'm attacking the whole house  Might sound a little overkill, but they're coming to fix the shower and our upstairs is so small I leave the doors open on the bedrooms so everything is visible
I asked DD this morning to leave her room "visitors coming tidy" and she's left her bed un-made, stuff on the floor, clean laundry hanging on her wardrobe...she'll claim she hasn't had the time, but she had time to send me various emoji texts this morning showing off which ones she has
On the plus side, if I get the house clean today, I should be able to have the weekend off except for grocery shopping Sunday. I'm working tomorrow all day and running errands/xmas shopping Friday with DD, then she's out Saturday, so in theory the place won't have a chance to get messed up...in theory :rotfl::rotfl:

More (((hugs))) for you Natty.
Shower and bathroom given a thorough lick yesterday, and the stick cleaner whizzed around the worst of the carpets. I think I might try just staying on top of things for a bit, like this.
The spare sparebed cushions are finally dry enough for the lodger to sleep on tonight which I never thought would happen because it just wouldn't stop raining long enough. A thorough squeezing into old bathmats and dog towels seem to have done the trick. I still don't know which animal was responsible but Kelpie had a one to one audience with the vet yesterday and there's nothing that she can find wrong, so I at least I can cross that off the list. *ouch* in the financial department, but there you go. Dizzy, I put his thundershirt on him overnight and he slept much more peacefully, and was much calmer this morning so I may try that for a few more nights - the vet had never heard of them! Thank you once again. Marvellous things.
Eight for dinner tonight, so I might have to get the duster out in the dining room before I chain OH to the stove - he's so much better at cooking roasts than I am.Better is good enough.0 -

Fairly clear and clean here from weekend flying but I've had a wash going and just put that out to dry.
Lots of paid stuff to do and going mob-handed to the dentist after school, so must get finished...

Hi all,
Thanks for the list Bossy.
So sorry about Scruffy Natty, sending big hugs.
I didn't manage to start anything after posting a couple of weeks ago. Dd has silent reflux and it's been impossible to put her down most of the time. She's finally allowed me to put her in her moses basket without crying so i'm making the most of it.
Argh spoke too soon she's crying. Just posting my list and i will update at some point later hopefully.
