    All 150 bulbs planted,.

Mrs MP thank you for making me laugh just when I needed it, I really thought this said 150 bulbs painted instead of planted... :D

Thank you for hugs everyone, as some of you have probably guessed Scruffybear has sadly had to be put to sleep. I took the decision this morning after DH had a really horrible night with Scruffy. He slept downstairs with him and all I could hear upstairs was Scruffy crying, thankfully he went to sleep at about 3am but he kept being sick before then. And when I got up he wasn't Scruffy anymore. His body was there but he wasn't if you see what I mean... Poor lamb kept looking at me but he couldn't even wag his tail..

We got him to a vet in Whitby, who were really nice and took us in as, what they called, holiday registrations.. The vet was really nice and agreed with us too..he also praised our vet in the fact that Scruffy had been able to live as long as he did after his diagnosis. Apparently they can only live a couple of months, and Scruffy survived 6 months without any effects or anything. Basically his kidneys had given up totally yesterday and I had to be kind to him..do the right thing. So at 10.30 this morning Scruffy passed away to the Summerlands where he is romping away with all the other animals, and his best pal Olliecat :D

We are actually quite lucky as his ashes are even being couriered back home to us in Sittingbourne when they are ready...so the old boy is still able to come home where he belongs. And he is going underneath the apple tree in the garden, that is now ready to be planted again somewhere bigger :D

Jet is doing okay, although when we came back from being out for the day..we decided to go to Pickering for the rest of the day as I couldn't go back to the cottage, he did look around the living room and went to where Scruffy was last night and started sniffing around. I think he knew that he wasn't with us, but thankfully he then went and got a squeaky toy and seemed quite happy. He's now curled up asleep and seems okay, he's eaten, done his abloutions and had an evening play :D We have decided that we are getting another dog, well I decided..I just mentioned it to Dave and he never said no.. So I shall start looking when we get home..the right one will show itself when the time is right, just like Scruffy did when we got him. :D

To be truthful I'm glad we aren't at home as it would be so awful not being home and him not being there - he's been there every day for nearly 14 years to not have him there now would be heartbreaking. Maybe that's why he decided his time was right now...who knows. :D

Anyway I shall be flying tomorrow before we go to Scarborough I think..I need stuff to keep me occupied otherwise I will just keep crying... But for now I think bed... xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh natty. Huge hugs to you all. What a horrible decision but one that needed to be done. Sounds like he had a lovely life with your family. At least now he will be at peace.

Haven't got anything else done off the list as I have been doing school work all night. So that will carry over to Thursday. At work all day tomorrow and then I am going ona bat walk with ds1 tomorrow evening so there won't be any time to get anything done apart from grabbing a quick bite to eat.
