Afternoon ladies - just a quick update from me as I still have quite a bit to do, but I've been a busy bee.

Completely sorted the boys' bedroom :j Got the box of next-size clothes down from the attic room and went through their entire wardrobe, sorting, flinging and CS bagging as I went. It took most of the morning...but...it's finally done. Got hot, sweaty and grumpy doing it but I'm there! All bags allocated to appropriate places for their onward journeys in the next day or two.

I got the hoover out to make a start in the lounge, but I ran out of steam, so snuggled up with Tiny ATM. Need to do a tip run and pop into the village for some bread, but I'll do that on my way to pick Small up from school.

Beef in red wine stew already cooking in SC, still got to check on the chickens and HHI to do, so must get a move on!

JTTOU - you're very welcome :D Chin up honey xxx

Natty big hugs sweetie, I'm all teary from reading your post like LW pets seems to touch me much more than people do (even other people's). I'm glad Scruffy will return to your home x

Holly DS2 had reflux, I swear i kept him in a sling for 6 months solid, rest when you can.

Just having a cuppa and replying to some emails then I'll make a start on dinner and may do HH pruning as the brown bin is emptying and the weather is fair.

Yikes! We've dropped onto page 2 of OS!!!

    <bump!>

Dentist visit decluttered, dentist announced DS teeth are not falling out in the right order :rotfl: he suggested sticking it back in until the right one comes out, lol, DS face was a picture! He said "but the tooth fairy took it a gave me a coin!" Dentist said he probably shouldn't try stick that in,p :D

Other than that, I've fed the kiddies, had a visit from mum, who has given her opinion on various outfits for the weekend, and told me the black dress isn't too short, but she really likes the patterned one...

I'm not quite finished work here. Couple of emails to send and a bit of re-reading and editing of notes.

Kitchen needs some attention but it may have to wait till morning. Had both kiddies in my bed last night - so I might get the spare room ready in case it happens again. It was a squash and a squeeze.

    Anyway, paid stuff beckons!

(((HUGS))) Natty; thinking of Scruffybear feeling the breeze of the Summerlands in his fur.

Been skim reading, but not had chance to post. Only just got onto MSE now, at 20:30, as been v busy trying to Fly properly for a change, and it's rather taking it's toll on me. Basically something has to give, and it's turning out to be the amount of time I spend online.

Oh yeah, before I forget to say, re CY's withering of the nasty cells, I have a very good line in withering looks. *glares menacingly at bad cells*
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Evening all,

No fly zone here today. I mean absolutely none. Walked dog early this morning, then had a lovely day out with friend until school picking up time (this included lunch at Betty's - those in Yorkshire will know this means diet truly broken). Then swimming lesson, tea, littlies to bed and here I am. One day of nothing done and the place looks like I haven't touched it for a month. Arghhh. Off to at least load DW and put WM on.
    Natty, more hugs xxxx
  • Natty hugs. You did the right thing and you will always remember him; sometimes with tears but always with joy.

I can't remember when I last posted, have skimmed threads so the usual hugs/spoons/frog-chewing teeth/cell-withering looks as appropriate.

I had a great hol with my mum, returned to find Mr N, the star, had flown round the house and it was sparkling and tidy ready for our friend visiting from NZ the day after I got home. We've done various trips with him and are now on our own for a couple of weeks till he comes back from visiting other friends, then is with us a few days before flying home. When I say on our own, actually BIL is coming for the weekend.

Have returned to loads of emails, absolutely tons of work, piles of apples/beans/greengages/tomatoes to do something with, lots of cobwebs and dust in the house. I've got lists of lists of lists to try and catch up.

Today just did 1 load in DW, 1 load washing, emptied one travel bag (one more to go), went to gym then to uni and did 1 assessment.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
