  • Frizzle in my wm instruction booklet there's a cleaning cycle instructions but I tend to just run it on a hot wash with NO detergent or a handful of washing soda once in a while.

Just realised I did everyone else's pack up last night but not mine! Just got to shoo Ds2 out wash up and I'm gone.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,

run the WM and/or DW on a hot wash to keep its insides happy i don't actually know how to do this! Any help?
There are a few methods (vinegar etc) but I use a product from a cheap shop, you soak the drawer then clean that and wash insides the rubber with the solution then put the rest in the drawer on a 60 wash.
If you are on Pinterest there are loads of handy tips there too.

The rest of the room is a tip, but if I shut the cupboard doors and just look up, I am happy :rotfl:

    Morning all

Hoping Scruffy is feeling better today Natty - sending hugs x

It's my birthday today, so won't be flying too much ;) However, up early so little ones and DH could give me their pressies before work and breakfast club. Very spoilt indeed with lots of lovely things and tonnes of cards too!

As I was up and raring to go, I've loaded DW, WM and done HHI. Sorted and tidied the bathroom - need to clean later this morning. Just having cuppa and Tiny has nodded off cuddled up next to me. I may join him :D

    Morning all.

I'm finding it hard to get going today as I'm so cold. I'm currently nursing my second large hot coffee while playing fetch.

DD did the bathroom yesterday so todays list is basically done already :D This is a good thing as I can get the finances done this morning, then when its warmed and dried up a bit I can get another coat of paint on the door. Seriously considering using the hairdryer on it once its touch dry to speed up the drying process :o

    Personal:
    - Look at gas and elec renewal
    - vacuum hall/stairs/landing
    - dust hall/stairs/landing
    - WM (lights, dog, cleaning cloths)
    Livingroom
    - Vacuum
    - Dust
    - Clean windows & mirrors
    - Wipe down paintwork
    - Wash throws
    - Mop floor (when its dry outside)
    Master bedroom
    - Dust
    - Sort charity boxes out
    - Organise wardrobe again
    - Wipe paintwork
    - Clean window and mirrors
    - Vacuum
    DD's bedroom
    - Dust
    - Wipe paintwork
    - Clean window
    - Sort wardrobe (shelf, clothes, shoes)
    - Vacuum

    Extras:
    • Descaling. Kettle, iron, taps - get the vinegar out!
    • Wipe over your big appliances

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • So my attack of the bathroom yesterday means I'm mostly done for today's list (will tidy up the last few bits to make sure I've done a thorough job). Still have quite a lot to do in the kitchen, which seems never ending.
