  • CY happy anniversary - and coping vibes for today x

Same to you Dusty - happy aniversary.

Grey and chilly here but the washing is out and another load in. Going to sort some paperwork next, not sure what else is planned for today. Everyone else is still in bed.

    Morning all

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs CY as well as Mr and Mrs Dustykitten.

    Happy Birthday Valli

DD has taken the dog for a walk. I've totted up the money we spent yesterday  I've got to make a run to the bank as we didn't get to town yesterday. We did manage to hit the 3 other places though. We left here at 12.15 and although we popped home between the 3 places (all accessible on different bus routes so made sense to drop the shopping off and let the dog out ;)) as I also had to pop to Mr A for a top up shop and then run out to work I finally sat down at 9pm to tea which DD made. I clocked up another 7 miles :D

Plan for today was to stay home and get on with jobs. In reality I need to run to the nearest bank to pay money in, and pop to a couple of shops. :(

    Personal:
    - Look at gas and elec renewal
    Master bedroom
    - Organise wardrobe again
    - Wipe paintwork
    DD's bedroom
    - Wipe paintwork

Happy birthday Valli - hope you have a lovely day. Anniversary wishes to Mr and Mrs CY and the Dustykittens xxx

Pottering today - football match on TV in a minute, so boys have downed tools for 90 mins. I've made some pickled eggs ready for my savages in a few weeks - used eggs from my chickens, so very pleased :D While footy is on I might make some apple muffins as the ones I made yesterday for the McMillan coffee morning at school were delicious! I topped them with browned butter and demerera sugar and it tasted like toffee. If I've got time, I might do a couple of jars of tomato chutney for the storecupboard.

Had to change the bed covers yesterday 24 hours after I'd previously done it as GH tipped a cup of coffee over, by accident. And just as I was getting to the bottom of the ironing pile too...

Wow! What a day for celebrations. Wishing happy anniversary to the Cycling Yorkies and Dusty Kittens. Also wishing Valli a very happy birthday.

I had a new great niece delivered yesterday morning. She has a lovely name P0ppy Fl0rence.

I'm off to a McMillan coffee morning now. I feel very peeved about it as McMillan aren't available in our area. I telephoned them when I was looking after my beloved poorly lady who is with the angels now. They said sorry we don't cover your area and that was that. I know of many McMillan events in our local area and feel really annoyed that none of the local money spent there will be distributed back to us.

Off flying today. DD has taken my car to N0rthampt0n to watch Leyton 0rient. If he's having fun then why should I be cleaning the house?

Tbh that would put me off supporting them - I wonder if the organisers of the various events are aware?

  • Bathroom scrubbed, bedrooms dusted, polished and hoovered. Two loads of washing out, a third is nearly done. Peace and quiet here, everyone else is out. Might walk the dog and curl up with my library book for an bit.

Wow, just realised its 3pm - where has today gone??
