NationwideFlexDirect£100 cashback offer

Not happy! I requested a full switch and assumed that this is what happened. But it appears that my old account was still open and now had to close it myself. Am feeling ripped off...
Just got the following e-mail:
Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your email.
We have received feedback from Nationwide advising us that you do not qualify for the cashback offer.
In order to qualify for the Nationwide cashback offer a full switch needed to have been processed online via the Moneysupermarket within 45 days of completing the online form.
Unfortunately we cannot action anything without Nationwide’s authorisation so we will not be issuing you the cashback incentive.
Kind regards,
The MoneySuperRewards Team
I've complained to Nationwide via their online form and got the following response:-
"I'm really sorry to say that Nationwide do not have anything to do with these cash back offers which moneysuperrewards has. On their website they do state that Nationwide's customer service team are unable to resolve any enquiries regarding these cash back offers.
Based on this you will have to chase this up with the moneysuperrewards company who had this on offer."
Obviously this is sending me around in circles. Any idea what to do next? I want my money I signed up for :mad:0 -

If you requested a full switch but your old account was still open afterwards then a full switch didn't take place so you need to find out from Nationeide what happened, ie why a full switch did not occur if that is what you requested.0 -

They say "Unfortunately we do not hold an exact time frame for this however we would like you to know that your application has been successful."
So it's positive.

Quick question.
My brother referred me and after he told me he had a "thankyou" email from nationwide, I then used there switching service. I went into branch to give them my passport as Identification, and then received the card through the post.
I've received 2 emails from them, and they are both completely blank (I've never had any issues with my email before). I asked in branch and rang up and they didn't seem to give me a clear and definitive answer (and didn't sound too confident). I asked them how exactly they know my brother as referred me when I didn't write anything on the form. Do they just match the names up etc.
girl on the phone said if I didn't get the 100 pound, I just needed ring again and other girl in branch mentioned a code too, but I didn't have one of them. I'm not overly confident I'll receive anything but I've followed all the T'C and c's etc
Thanks0 -
Just looked into switching via this offer to get the £100, but found out that the offer is no longer available, but upon logging into Topcashback found I could get £35.35 for switching.
Then remembered I have an account with Quidco so tried them to see what offer they have for Nationwide and it turns out that they are offering £75, so did the switch through them instead, bonus. :j
Thought i would mention as people on this thread are saying that you can have up to 4 accounts so why not use both Quidco and Topcashback to earn a little extra? ::money:
Hth
