Hi sorry I haven't logged in a few weeks.
After the rewards team refused again. I've raised a complaint with the FOS who in turn have sent it to moneysupermarket...who have in turn said they are investigating it (just got the letter from them yesterday).
I got no doubt the outcome will be in my favour. Due to the time I have wasted I will be asking for compensation to cover this.

Nationwide wrote to us saying sorry you have made a complaint, you'll receive a reply by 17.1.16. Tried calling MSM again but the call goes to answer phone, with them saying they'll reopen on 4.1.16, despite it beign 9.1.16 so not spoken to MSM. FOS are now involved and will get back to me in 2 weeks from 31.12.15. I too will ask for comp. What amount of comp do you think we should be asking?
On another note: The only thing we did do is go to branch once account was open to change my partners name as there was a letter missing from name on the correspondence we got from Nationwide. I don't think this would be the reason why we haven't received the incentive yet, do you?0 -
Personally I just think it's due their incompetence in dealing with basic admin.
I guess I've emailed them 10 times by now and made 10 calls? Maybe a couple of hundred quid compensation? I don't know honestly...

I received an email from MSM who say that I qualify but now I have to wait for the validation file to come back to us which holds my address details and then they will print my cheque and put it in the post.
They say "Unfortunately we do not hold an exact time frame for this however we would like you to know that your application has been successful."
So it's positive.0 -
I'm still waiting to hear back from Nationwide's complaints team - I never even got to apply under the MSM offer (due to credit checking facility going down just before deadline) and been going on back and forth for months between MLP and now NW to see if I can still apply to get the £100.0

Thanks, yep that's what I am waiting for NW to confirm as their continued failure to get back to MLP on enquiries if I was still eligible led me to having to launch a complaint with NW to resolve the issue.....hopefully will get the go ahead plus a bit of comp for the wasted time and calls.0
