NationwideFlexDirect£100 cashback offer

MSE/Moneysupermarket has the following offer.
http://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/news/grab-one-hundred-punds-and-a-top-interest-rate-when-you-switch-your-current-account-to-nationwide/00171018/?source=CRM-0X00000171119EC0A3&email=true
Seems to be a cash back scheme when you switch the Nationwide Flex Direct account.
The only account I have available for a switch at present is a Coop Savings Plus account which gets opened automatically when you hold a Coop Current Account Plus account.
It is not clear to me as to whether you can have the Current Account Plus without having the Savings Plus Account.
The savings plus account has a 6 figure sort code and an 8 figure account number.
Does any one know if the Savings plus account can be used for the current account switching service.
I don't believe the Coop issue a debit card for the Savings Plus account.
My last Flex Direct account matured in May this year, so opening a new one now would only entitle me to 1% in stead of the usual 5% interest.
Any thoughts would be welcome.

The offer only applies to switching a current account, not a savings account.
If you have a friend, you can get £200 for switching, directly from Nationwide: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/products/current-accounts/landing-page/recommend-a-friend0 -
I persuaded my family members to get Nationwide accounts long before the refer a friend scheme came about0

It's useful for those who are excluded from the RAF incentive following the recent T&Cs change.Any thoughts would be welcome.
Doesn't appear to require DDs or SOs (although I haven't looked too closely so I may have missed that).
If you combine a cashback site (such as Quidco or TCB) with RAF you may be able to near double the MSM/MSE offer of £100.0 -
I have just read the terms and conditions does not say anywhere that the offer is only available to new customers.
Do I have to request switch immediately at the end of the application or can I do it later on once the account shows up on Internet banking? Thanks MS0 -
Well, this is annoying. My switch from Yorkshire Bank to Nationwide FlexDirect just completed today...0

Switch another one.0

Haven't got another one. And wouldn't it mean opening a second FlexDirect?0

You don't need a second FlexDirect, just another current account with a couple of DDs to switch. Easy peasy, though you need to put a bit of work into it.

I've got two FlexDirects and two FlexAccounts. I've just applied through the above link for another. I have foraged to find out how many accounts you can have and just cannot find anything to say that it's limited.
You only need dd's if you are doing the refer-a-friend. Otherwise, as far as I can see (and that isn't very far these days), you just need to pay in £1000 a month (in the usual way that we all do...). Now, again, I may have misread and that may be for the £100 or it may be for the 5%, so I'm sure that someone more alert than I am, can doublecheck for us.
If you need an account for switching, I previously found that RBS online were quick and easy to do for this, very efficient, in fact.
Of course, if you haven't already done the refer-a-friend then try to get both the £100 using the MoneySupermarket/MSE link, and the refer-a-friend.
As always, there are credit searches for each new bank account in case someone reading has a problem with that.0 -
Hmm interesting...
Just had a quick read through the offer and it doesn't seem to specify whether its for new customers only or if existing customers can also be eligible.
I've already got a flexdirect account with Nationwide which i use for the 5% interest. I'm wondering if there's anything to stop me from switching one of my other current accounts over to take advantage of this £100 offer?
There doesn't seem to be anything saying you have to actually open a new account but only just switch.
It would help if they had a clear T&Cs list for eligibility for the offer.
Any ideas guys?0
