    Evening all :hello:

Coxy - have added your recipe for the turkey kebabs to the list. Thank you :D

Delivery from Mr T was £18.89, which I've added to my total. Today was an NSD, which brings my total to 15 for the month so far :j

Have to shop the morrow for perishables but hoping not to spend very much. Have the skeletons for all the meals until end of the month in the freezers.

Hope you all having a super weekend

  • Spends of around £30 this week (over estimating). Need to do a shop tomorrow for basics, might pick up some treats for my halloween party. Going to try and stay under budget because I've come home from work to a broken oven. This needs replacing asap as I have 3 kids. Gutted.

£55.85 left now as went to T. Bought more but rest was dog treats and sticks and I'm not counting doggie's stuff in the GC. I am tempted to try extra hard to only spend £5.85 this week if I can as that would mean my spend for the 2 of us is £100 this month. We still have a lot in cupboards, fridge and freezer & fruit bowl is looking good.

£3.50 spent in Mr S on some GF scones as a treat as I am under the weather and a jar of lazy garlic which appears to be the same price but half the size since I bought it last!

Well, I popped in to Tosco for some milk today, and well and truly busted my budget by spending £14.11!

I can't really complain though, as I struck a bit of a YS goldmine. I paid full price for chorizo and milk, but I got huge reductions on herbs (for fish tomorrow), 4 beef olives, 2 sirloin steaks, 12 beef sausages, deli counter smoked ham, mushrooms, 4 thick slices of ham on the bone, 4 plaice fillets, 2 granary loaves and 2 currys.

I was pretty chuffed with this lot, especially since I have not had much YS luck recently. I was really surprised by the huge amount of YS's available today.

I've decided to lower my November budget a bit to compensate for my overspend in October. I've bought loads of cleaning stuff and freezer stuff this month, so I'll try to spend a bit less on my GC budget and focus on using what I have.

I hope the October challenge finishes well for everyone!
