£23.20 spent in Mr S on chicken, a couple of RM for DH as I am not well and cant be bothered to cook from scratch, protein shakes for when I am away later this week, vitamins and a sweetie for DS who received an outstanding achievement award at school yesterday :A
The protein shakes are not cheap and I will not be able to claim them off my work lunch allowance when I am travelling but I didn't take any last week and although the £s in my purse were not reduced by my spends as it was on expenses the lbs on the scales certainly went up.:eek:Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

Went to Mr As on Sunday and never again!! I hate that shop!! Was so busy and I thought it was really expensive, we just got a sort of top up shop (no main meals just things like cheese, eggs, ham, biscuits, drinks etc) and it come to £38!! There wasn't even a small trolley full!! Plus we don't buy anything branded (except the cheese which was on offer).
Won't be shopping there again!!Read my diaryHere0 -
*whisper* Hello all :A
I hope you don't mind me jumping in at this late stage in the month.
I've been looking through the challenges on DFW and have jumped in with one so far. I'm not in debt, I do save monthly and I believe my utility bills, etc are at the lowest that they could be, but I added up what I spent on 'stuff' and picking up 'ooh, I fancy that for dinner/snack/lunch' bits last month - £850 - and was both very embarrassed and disgusted at the waste. I could've had an awesome holiday in the sun!
Don't get me wrong, I did need to totally replace my entire wardrobe (still wearing the same jammies, just holding them when I walk though :rotfl:) but I can totally ease off on that now that I have enough skirts and dresses to see me through. May need another pair of trousers soon though.
I have loads of bits in the house for dinner - even down to entire ready meals. I did Jane Plan last year when I was playing at losing weight instead of getting back to what I know works for me, so I have loads of their meals leftover. Including breakfasts. Now, I don't even like ready meals, so god knows why I got suckered into that!?
I've gotten to my goal weight this year and moved into a new job that I REALLY enjoy, which is great. However, it's in town. And I like to get out and about during lunchtime. Which means shops. EVERYWHERE . This year has actually been fantastic, and I've done lots of the things that I wanted. So now it's time to tackle the last (for the moment) niggle...
I'm aiming for a spend of no more than £15 till the end of the month to pick up any bits and pieces that we'll need.0 -

Quite pleased with total so far and hope to cut the budget in November...not pleased with the amount of food I threw out last weekend though!! Fruit / yogurt / veg we hadn't used up
Shopped at Sainsb and A1di this week, got huge packet of loo roll at a great price and a huge bag of dog food too (different budget but all helps). Will need topups of milk and some more chicken but still well within target.
Everyone's doing well and lots of VERY determined forum members who have lost weight as well :T Maybe that can be the next challenge! (Failed Sober OCtober)

Annoyed with myself at spending money on lunch in town for the last two days... Cheap eating next week as my son is away tho so might make budget x0

Hanging on by a thread... £6.19 left on my self-imposed £200 instead of £400. I can't see it myself, as I've promised to take cheese and wine to a dinner party on Hallowe'en (why couldn't it have been on 1 November?
But without that, £6.19 would probably be enough for milk and loo rolls (I'm sure my DS eats them!).
