I like soap, it's much better for shaving your legs. I normally use whatever Lush ones I have left from birthdays and Christmas but I've run out and upon visiting Lush they only stocked a small selection of soaps and they were expensive
My soap doesn't last as long now, my OH has started using it for shaving his head too.0 -
Love dove soap - use it to wash and also keep new bars dispersed amoungst my clothes - keeps them smelling fresh0

hello stardrops, could you point me to the recipe?
I too have sensitive skin, have to buy sls free shampoo, and I only use unscented olive oil soap.
Fortunately I have lovely friends & family who bring bars back for me - mostly from southern French markets.
You can buy savon de Marseilles online - it looks expensive but a huge block lasts ages, and I use the old French housewives' trick of keeping it in the airing cupboard so it dries out a bit and lasts longer.
I do buy some liquid olive oil soap, I don't use it much as it is wasteful, but I put it in a little bottle for travelling and use it on my hair as well.0 -
I use shower gel most of the time. I usually get it every Christmas and birthday (being born in January, perhaps it's just too easy for people to regift their Xmas toiletries) so by the time I get through that lot, I don't need to fork out for too many bottles.0

We use both in our house. I know what people mean about soggy soap dishes but we have a magnetic soap holder (unfortunately I'm not able to post a link). Works a treat. Just google it.0
