Just check the delivery instructions if you can to ensure you didn't put that it could be left with neighbours.

I think leaving it with neighbours is often the default setting unless you say otherwise - it is with Amazon, anyway. One of their drivers tried to give me a parcel from about 10 houses up - I said I didn't have a clue who they were and he said it didn't matter.

it wasn't from amazon or ebay, I just checked now and there were no instructions to leave with neighbours. I'm def not going to go there and ring his bell, hopefully the courier can be tracked down with a description of the person who signed for it.thanks for the replies, I'm stressing, and it's triggered the trauma I went through there :(

it doesn't make a difference how long it's been, you never get over lost loved ones.. you learn to live with it, but anniversaries trigger the grief. Plus it's been so close to mother's day. I hope you have a good sleep too hon x

Delivery companies are supposed to deliver to the correct person. (Having said that, yes, it is worth a try contacting them to see if they want to try to retrieve from wherever they actually left it.) If you haven't had your parcel, it is THEIR responsibility to get it to you, not yours to chase it - and you can say that all the local neighbours have been checked. (I would actually say that I'd checked all the local neighbours since I think you have done this through your nice people, but you might feel this is telling fibs.)

It's then the despatcher's responsibility, especially as they didn't leave any kind of card.....

squishes to all those who need them, and giant consoling hugs for anyone who is missing their mum ((((((()))))))
