It took a long time to complete, so I was panicing (amazing how watching a computer screen that's doing absolutely nothing can sent the heart rate skyrocketing), but seems to have worked first time and so far I don't appear to have broken anything.
My sigh of relief could probably be heard in London
Fingers crossed for a speedy fix to your upstairs neighbor's plumbing WaS.(I just lurve spiders!)

Does Ono earn big boys' pants (where the rest of us have BGP
)
Well done to Ono!
And an 'o no' (see what I did there) to WaS - can't believe your ceiling is still leaking!Delighted you are less worried about the ESA stuff, though
I've had a lurgy, and am still recovering a bit. Have to be back to full form tomorrow though for Cheltenham, which is usually a very prosperous time for match bettors!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Well done, Ono! A double success!

Hope you have a prosperous few days JM.
I've not managed to gather the mental energy yet to try matched betting. As soon as odds are mentioned my brain starts to hurt and I'm back in the school classroom getting completely baffled by probabilities.
Gitdog went into kennels for the day. I say went into kennels. What I actually mean is spent a happy few hours tunnelling his way towards freedom a la great escape. He returned home dusty and knackered, and it's been very peaceful for a change. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Well done Ono!
WaS, you need to send the letting agent a bill for some new wellies and a cagoule! They really should sort it urgently.
Good luck JM, although I wouldn't even begin to understand how it all works.
If anyone needs me I shall be in the fort recovering from the trauma of having Escapette fire a mahoosive poo at me whilst changing her nappy. She laughed, I didn't0 -

Ice cream cake is gorgeous. There used to be an ice cream shop here that sold them, sadly gone. Well done on the job

Good that you've manged to reduce the dose further, hope the effect stops soon. That's dreadful that the leak isn't sorted yet but well done to wasp for his fix.
Welly
Sorry but I had to laugh at Escapette's antics.

Hope you soon fell better and enjoy Cheltnham
Today was lovely here so we were in the garden tidying up leaves etc, handily our garden waste bin is collected tomorrow. I say we but I mostly picked up a few leaves. My back is twinging but I am hoping the fresh air means I will sleep better tonight.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

It's the wide awake club!
It's not insomnia tonight though, blooming nervous system is playing up (nerve damage in spine) and my legs are shuddering and moving all over the place (annoying and painful), making sleep impossible.
Trying to take my mind off it by surfing the Internet on my phone while waiting for medication to hopefully work or I just bash out exhausted...got to be up in less than 3 hours! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Well done Ono, I'm pleased it worked first time for you.
WaS, I can't believe you've got a leaky ceiling again!! Well done WaSp for the impromptu funnel but the letting agent really should have got it properly sorted out last time.
JM, good luck for Cheltenham. I am utterly useless at betting and whenever friends have dragged me to horse or dog racing I stick with the method of never putting much on a race and picking a name I like.
Sue, I hope you managed to get some sleep in the end and aren't too zombiefied today.0
