It is a lovely day here. Washing is on the line. House is a creative tip.
I did the MSE survey on mental health and finances. A good thing to do if you are brave enough to face it at the moment. I think it could really help people in the future.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. I've done the survey too. I seem to remember doing something similar a while back.
Escapette and myself have now recovered. Bearded One has tummy ache that only stops when he lies down apparently. I've heard lazyitis is prevalent around here at the moment.
Just took Escapette and Little Sod a short walk. I actually enjoyed it as he behaved himself for once and we only had to hide behind one car to pass another dog. The weather is lovely today.
I wish we had a washing line WW! Bearded one took it down to use the parts last year and never replaced it.0 -
Tell Bearded One that sunlight kills germs so he needs to get the washing line sorted!(Not that it is a man's job, just that he has the skills).
I wouldn't be without my washing line, or dishwasher. I'd rather get divorced!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Good afternoon all!
Look at me awake after only 10 hours sleep! There is hope for me yet.
So glad that you are feeling better, Welly. I agree with whitewing, fresh is great for lazyitis!
Now I want a Vietnamese Mossy Frog! They are adorable!
I have been talking to my friend about her crisis line project and we are both leaning towards me taking a supervisory role. This would involve me being online for 4 hours a week with a list of services available to give the crisis workers as they are needed and being there if they need help either with clients or for themselves if they feel upset by a call. This means I won't worry about how people are after I have spoken to them and it is also helpful to the project because they have a lot of volunteers for the crisis line but they don't have many with previous supervisory experience for the supporting role.
My friend will be working 16 hours a week as a supervisor but I have repeatedly said 4 hours is my absolute limit and she is fine with that. I am excited!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

So you should be WaS, that sounds like a perfect solution.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

No spring stories really. I just know it's spring when you hear people mowing the lawn. Such a relaxing sound!0

I like spring! Not as much as winter and autumn which I love but I like the pretty blossom and the flowers. Then it gets to summer which is a nightmare for me because my body temperature is broken so I spend most of it sponging myself down with cold water and suffering.
If my ESA form is ever done (it's a month next week, I might be counting) I shall attempt to get out at dawn and experience some spring weather first hand. I might collect some blossom and decorate with it.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Sod's law it's going to be nice this week. On the one hand this is good, as I hate the cold and need to get into my garden.
On the other hand I am dogsitterless this week, so was planning to stick Gitdog in the car and take him out to work with me. Too hot if it's like today though - not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow, now. May have to turn up at the kennels doggy day care and plead. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I appear to be in a ranty mood tonight...a night when I post a rant and then delete. Suppose it is better than the anxious, gut churning mood I was in last night though. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
