I woke at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. Strange, as it was a very long day yesterday at the AmDram workshop. I thought I'd sleep well. The day was extremely good, though, and I was pleased with my achievements!

I wish we had a washing line WW! Bearded one took it down to use the parts last year and never replaced it.
Am dying to know what he used the parts for! Have visions of some Heath-Robinson contraption!

On the other hand I am dogsitterless this week, so was planning to stick Gitdog in the car and take him out to work with me. Too hot if it's like today though - not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow, now. May have to turn up at the kennels doggy day care and plead.

  • Morning all, very tired today as it was a busy weekend, though I did sleep straight through for six hours or so last night. While cold outside, the sun is shining, I have daffodils in my garden and it looks like the tulips are on their way too, so in a good mood :) (I like spring, when the weather is nice)

We had ice cream cake for my niece's birthday at the weekend, whoever invented that needs to be given a medal :D

Well done Pyxis, glad you had a good day with the Amdram. :)

    Morning All,

Well done Gingernutty, I can't believe how brave you must be to have been able to do that!!

If I thought last week had gone quickly it was nothing compared to the speed at which the weekend flew by!!
I'm glad I got all of the chores done on Saturday as we had my parents over for dinner and rather a lot of wine was consumed so yesterday was a bit of a write off. It's been ages since I've had a weekend where I got a chance to lie on the settee, watch rubbish telly and eat rubbish food though so I really enjoyed my day of utter laziness.

I have been enjoying reading the KonMarie thread, and am beginning to tackle my scrapbooking cupboard. This has a lot of precious memories, probably some utter crap and some bits that realistically I am not going to use as scrapbooking. Partly because it seems pointless for DS and littlewing to have to find homes for thirty six scrapbooks after I die. These were the scrapbooks that never got made.

I have decided to make it into an Art and Craft cupboard which littlewing and I can both dip into. It will be exciting. (Slight waste of money of all the archival quality bits and pieces but they aren't doing anything anyway).

The challenge for today is not to attempt to do too much as I definitely won't get it all done today.

Oh WW, I love scrapbooking too, although I haven't made an actual scrapbook page in years (my wedding book is still unfinished and we've been married 5 years!), and have a feeling that your cupboard is in a similar state to mine! I have a lot to sort out, but going through each and every box is such a chore! :o I have decided to do a scrapbook of our Florida holiday though so I might actually use some of my stash! :) But then again, I'll probably just buy some more as I have A Problem.

    Evening all!

I hope you get some sleep tonight, Sue and Tory.

That sounds like a lovely weekend, Pyxis! You must be exhausted by now though!

How did today go, elsien? Did you have company at work?

I want ice cream cake now! I don't think I have ever tried it!

Hope the course is going well, Welly!

Glad you got a day to just relax, Izadora!

Hope the cupboard sorting went well, whitewing! I have quite a lot of crafting stuff, I need to use it!

Birdie, you sound like me and cuddly toys. There can never be enough!

I reduced my medication down again two days ago and I have gone from constipated to not being able to be 2 feet away from a bathroom! We are dropping it back very slowly at 10mgs at the time but there is still withdrawal to an extent. We have another 40mgs to go before we reach the level my psychiatrist and I agreed on which is a bit higher than my normal dose but hopefully not enough to cause strong side effects. It takes a long time with this medication because it has a half life of 30 hours, it stays around for a long time after dosage. In another month I should be better.

In ESA form news it still hasn't moved! The assessment centre is still waiting for it. On a good point I do feel less anxious about it now because time is healing and a lot of time is passing. It will be a month on Thursday, perhaps it might have made it out of the post room by easter?

We have a new tenant who has moved in above us. As soon as he ran water the bedroom ceiling started leaking again! We have told the letting agent so here we go again. This time WaSp, being Mr Practical has fashioned a pipe out of bin bags stuck to the ceiling with duct tape to direct the water directly into a bowl so nothing is getting wet. He is so good at this stuff.

I just did my big scary work thing that I've been putting off for weeks, by logging into the servers from home and triggering it remotely. It took a long time to complete, so I was panicing (amazing how watching a computer screen that's doing absolutely nothing can sent the heart rate skyrocketing), but seems to have worked first time and so far I don't appear to have broken anything.

My sigh of relief could probably be heard in London :o

Fingers crossed for a speedy fix to your upstairs neighbor's plumbing WaS.
