I forgot to do my weigh in again so will do it tomorrow.

Signed a contract on a rented house yesterday and then today find out I will be out of a job in December. Not too much of a panic as there is a long time to sort something out, was just hoping for a little break from tackling stuff!

I've decided to stop going for my EMDR sessions, the stress of going is too much at the moment. Annoyed with myself though as I think it would really help if it works

    Welly,

Have to do what best for you. If you don't think you are going to get the best out of it then yes probably for the best.

    Yours

Aw, big hugs Welly, EMDR is hard. It brings so much up, granted it then helps you file it away but it can be very painful during the process. It is something you can return to if you wish at a later date so do take a break if you need to do so. If you can face it do go for another session after you tell your therapist that you wish to stop for now so there isn't sudden break. I was always weaned off all of my various therapies, sessions would stretch further apart to wean me off of the dependency and conclude our work, I always did the same with my clients. It can make things worse to suddenly cut them off as I am sure Melly can vouch for with her OH. Grrr that still annoys me, Melly, they handled that so badly.

Don't give up, Melly! Not all agencies and client suit each other. I am so sorry that this is taking so long, have a hug too.

  • Psychotherapy is a bit harder to access than counselling sadly, Calley. A lot of people opt for private although it is available on the NHS. I am not sure if MIND have psychotherapists, I think they do? JM?!

Well, you will remember that all local Minds are independent charities. Sadly, psychotherapy is quite rare, but there are services out there (usually limited to residents of that borough or county). Personally, it is rare for me to walk down the corridor at work without bumping into a psychoanalytical psychotherapist :rotfl: - but you can only get subsidised counselling from us if you live in the area. • Ah ok, JM! I thought they were in there somewhere, I just wasn't aware how often the service was offered.

And welly definitely go for a final session and speak to them about stopping for a while and your concerns OH has really really suffered due to his just stopping for 8 weeks now.

Don't think she'd ever had someone tell her not to add their details to their database WaS. She went all er er er so I said look I have good relationship with 2 agencies and I'd rather be represented by them than one I didn't gel with, good luck for the future.

OH said I is a cocky so and so, no not going to be spoken down to by someone. If your not going to let me know any information even the vaguest about a role before I go into my history then we can't work together
  • I need someone to talk to.

The last pages appear to be an established conversation.

Do I simply pen my issues?
