WaS,
Not sure how you sent it. But 1st class is 1-3 working days excluding weekends. And then it gets sent to a central hub. Before being passed on to the correct dept.
I never said it at the time. But stuff like that I always send on a special service. For the land registry stuff I paid £7.25 for it get there next day tracked service. And the other paperwork last week I sent same service and it cost me £6.75 as I wanted to proof I had sent it back. And wanted it there ASAP.
Husbands ESA/PIP forms always went signed for, Yes I am aware that because of the amount of mail it never is. But at least I have a proof of sending it.
You did make a copy? If so print it and either fax it or send it off again using a special service.
Have a massive hug

Temporary contract position for however long it takes for company A to create and sign off the role. Then move over if you still want to. Sorted.
I get that you need money now, but all the same doesn't it make you feel good to know that you've created that sort of impression? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Deep breath Was . Did you send it first class next day signed for as I suggested . If so you will have a reference number to check online at Royal Mail . It will bring up the date and time of delivery plus the signature of the person who took it from the postman . It should be possible to give the details to DWP as proof .
If you posted it another way contact bubbly bulldozer and let her contact them on your behalf '

None of which should be a big deal, but am freaking out! Last time I had a hire car I could barely drive the thing. Someone had to show me how to start it and I had to google how to turn the lights on :rotfl:. I have everything crossed that this one is easier to operate.
.
Those light can be flipping hard to find. I took a service user on holiday once. I'd not long passed my test and borrowed my mother's Lada. Which was like driving a tank (no power steering obviously) and involved the use of cushions to peer over the steering wheel. We arrive in sunny Morecambe to discover that I can't find out how to turn the headlights on, there's no instructions, and parent isn't answering the phone. So for the first couple of days of the holiday we had to get back to the site before it went dark which did spoil the fun just a little bit.
On the other hand, it gets the plonker feeling over and done with and alternative cars don't seem quite so daunting next time round. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I didn't have the money to send it signed for unfortunately, I am wishing I used a credit card to do it now. I did take copies so that I can print them off if I need to but they told me to wait until the 26th and check again as it can sometimes take a while to get on the computer if someone forgets. Forgets??? I pointed out that the 26th is the cut off date for when they said it has to returned by and they said they will deal with that on the day. Can they stop my benefit on Friday if they don't have it even though this is not my fault? Shall I just go to A&E now for another dose of knock out drugs? WAS, Welfare Rights sorted Harry's out for him & sent it off. He didn't have to go for an interview or whatever it's called, which is just as well as I don't think he would've gone. Hope it gets sorted.0

Just read Elsians post and agree . If sent in the original pre paid envelope it can take a while to arrive and reach an assessor . I think it's about seven or eight days since you sent it so it could still be waiting to be dealt with . My daughters claim took three weeks to reply to and had been signed for less than twelve hours after us handing it in at the post office . I checked online with royal mail the day after sending and was able to print off the date , time and signature as evidence if needed.

WaS,
I do understand about the money thing. Not sure if you or WaSP are aware that you can get proof of postage for free from the post office. So at least you could prove it had been sent. But that is all academic as they say.
Try not to panic at this stage. There is another 4 days to go. If it is not there by 26th. Ask if you can e-mail or fax the forms to them.
I understand about it being a worry. have a massive hug and a squish.
