Is it worth seeing the Doctor Calley . You do sound low . Have a big hug
polly xIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.0 -
(((calley)))
I think the suggestion of seeing your GP again is a good one. Are you able to get appointments easily where you are?
Don't feel bad about having a meh day though - we're all entitled to them now and again! You've also looked after phoebe, done washing, cooked etc - so you're probably doing far more than you think you are.
Hope you can get the sleeping sorted - everything else is so much harder when you're not getting enough quality sleep (I know this very well at the moment. Even after an ok day my mind still switches to overdrive as soon as my head hits the pillow).0 -
Thanks polly.
I am already on anti-depressants for my anxiety. Which they have helped.
I need to sort out my sleep then I think things will get better.

There can be a lot of trial and error involved in getting the right meds and the right dose. Have you been on these ones long? Certainly wouldn't hurt to have a medication review and discuss how things are going. x0

The meds might be wrong love.
Dose might need changing you might need talking therapy.
Could you do part time work my mental health a lot worse now stuck at home.0 -

Just about everyday is turning in to a meh day.
we have same day appointments if need but its not a emergency.
As I said a decent nights sleep and a kick up the bum is all I need.

They are working for my anxiety so not keen to have them changed.
Not sure. I find the anxiety levels rise massively with going to work. so a catch 22 situation.

Do you absolutely need to work right now - financially that is? If you can get by with your lodger income, maybe consider volunteering? That way you can be a lot more flexible about hours etc. Enough to get you out of the house and stop the loneliness, but not so much that it becomes something to worry about. You could maybe do one morning/afternoon a week for a while just to get you back into the swing of things.
I know when I've been out of work (or even just off work for more than a few days) I get quite anxious about having to go back. Generally once I'm there it's never anywhere near as bad as I'm expecting. Maybe easing back into a routine with some voluntary work could help.
Obviously this might not be practical or helpful for any number of reasons, in which case ignore me0
