Well they've had long enough to get familiar with it - about time they got something sorted. Isn't that something your bulldozer should be sorting for you? Being good at advocating for yourself doesn't mean you don't still have needs that should be being met.
I think under the Care Act you and WaSP can have a joint assessment so that might be worth asking about - if they're looking at both your needs then it's got to throw up something for you. And there's always complaints procedures - it's what they're there for.
Right, I'll get back off my soapbox now. Sorry for the rant. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Evening Shipmates,
Nothing exciting happened to day :rotfl:
Managed to send one of the forms off to Land Registry with out a date on it. What a Plank. They are sending back. So fingers crossed by the end of the month we will be done. And then husband gets the fun job of talking to HMRC.
Tea have a massive hug. You feel that you have unfinished business. You can't as melly said turn those feelings off like a tap. it will take time. And I know you feel guilty about the police and everything. please don't. You are not pathetic or weak. As per the chimp paradox you are letting the chimp control you. You need to lull it to sleep so that the human can then deal with the issue. Mind you I am terrible for allowing my emotions to take over.
WaS have a hug. In cases such as yours it obvious that there is a need for the extra care. But sadly due to the demands on the systems and cost cutting everywhere the money is not there.
Well spoke to husband about the wedding photo. he said yes but wanted to know why I was asking. I said because its a public forum and wanted to know you were ok with it. I am being a lazy moo and can't be bothered to get the scanner out the cupboard :rotfl: so tomorrow it will be.
Right everyone who needs them hugs and squishes and handshakes, As big or as small as long or as short as you wish.
right I will say night as I am off to bed really soon and hope to get a decent nights sleep. Last night I got approx 4 hrs. No naps today which surprised me.

Hahahaha! Rant away, elsien! I have been in this situation for a long time and the ideas change depending on who I talk to. I have been told there is no way I can live alone and would need residential care if I didn't have someone with me, then told I don't qualify for a carer because I am not unwell enough. I do think they don't know where I fit because nothing is constant. Like today I am moderately well, the auditory hallucinations are there and I am apparently making little sense verbally according to WaSp because the words in my head are not what comes out of my mouth but I can take my own medication, get my own water, use the laptop. Four days ago I was in such a state that A&E were panicking about my physical health due to me becoming so mentally unwell that the only answer was to give me a drug to knock me out. It changes constantly and I can't always predict it.
I will ask Bubbly Bulldozer to do 'something' though because Wasp needs at least a day a week to go out for more than 4 hours. At the very least he needs to get to Milliefleur's so I shall push for that when I feel well enough.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

They should still take account of fluctuating needs. Maybe a more direct question needs to be asked this time round?

Ooooh, I never knew that existed! Thank you so much, I shall read that and bookmark it. I agree I think something more direct needs to be asked.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

HTH.
And in other news, Thursday night is dog training night. Which tonight involved Gitdog sulking in a corner with his back to the room looking sad. All he needed was his dunce's hat to complete the picture.
Followed by the "send to bed" exercise where after we'd done it twice he decided he couldn't see the point of getting up only to get sent back again and declined to move for the rest of the session. This included when it was time to leave and go home - we very nearly had to stay for the night. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Can't wait to see the photo, Calley!
Hahahahaha! I am with Gitdog, elsien! How dare they tempt him with bed and then repeatedly take it away! I adore him.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Gitdog is clever
He was saying why bother going if your just going to make me get out again?
We had dachshunds growing up (why I like JR'S I think similar temperament) and if you threw a stick or ball for them they would just look at a you like your were thick (if you wanted it, why did you throw it away?)
Low day today, no idea why0 -
Aww poor Gitdog! If someone told me I could go to bed then tried to make me get up I'd sulk too!
Unfinished business....spot on. That's exactly what the problem is. Which is why I'm so angry at him - if he'd just given me a few week's space we could carried on speaking and ended things properly. But because he's been such a total div it all feels very unfinished and it never can be finished now. I've gone from mooching along, slowly processing the changing circumstances to smacking into a brick wall of !!!!!! just happened. Because I can't speak to him at all it feels quite traumatic.0 -
Hahahaha how cute, Melly! Big hugs for a low day, it is almost over and hopefully tomorrow will be a better one.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
