Haven't heard anything about sorting the stuff in the garage so have just promised my mum I'd go round there tomorrow and finish sorting through the last few boxes in my old room. Have managed to put this off for 20yrs so it's about time! Hopefully will also have time to pop in dunelm and look at a few bits for the new bedroom. Was measuring curtains at midnight.

Wow! Tea! This is the start of the new completely independent you! Yey!

Hope you find some nice curtains!

It's similar here melly. The company has grown a lot in the last few years, with a lot of acquisitions of smaller companies and expansion abroad. It's so badly organised! As a systems specialist I am tearing my hair out on a daily basis.

Only an hour izadora?! :D You're more controlled than me!

Well, I do generally allow quite a bit of time for what I think I need so an hour over makes it pretty bad!!

The last time I went there I was only meant to be getting nets for the living room and came out with curtains for both bedrooms and a load of kitchen stuff as well... :rotfl:

    That wallpaper is stunning!!

Isn't it pretty? And such a good price!! Am only doing one wall, and it's got a picture rail so the top of the wall is painted anyway so will only need a couple of rolls. Am contemplating getting the matching curtains - they'll be on the opposite wall to the papered one, and the others will be painted plain and I'll have plain bedding, so I think I can get away with it.

Calley - I don't know the full story of your husband etc, but I did notice you say he wasn't the man you met etc......... I wondered.........how would you feel about him now if you met him today, as the man he is today without comparison to who either of you were before? (versus some of the idiots you have chatted to?) how would he stack up?

    FB,

Very good question but not one have thought about.

I don't have time at the moment to give a full answer as putting on my face to get out the door. So catch you all later.

    Yours

I'd definitely go for the matching curtains if it's only going to be one wall, especially as it's the opposite wall.

It would definitely be too much if you had it on the bed as well but, as I have very plain walls, I actually think it would make a beautiful duvet as well. My OH might disagree though, when he changed the bed the other day he put the blokiest set he could find on there as "I just wanted a bed without butterflies, flowers or sparkly stuff for a change." :D

ETA - Ooooooh, they do actually do it as a duvet set!!!

Duvet set, kettle, mugs, plates, coasters, lampshade, toaster, cushions, wallpaper, curtains, storage boxes, clock, canvas, dressing gown, fabric..... you really could go overboard!

Last night Mr CP asked me why I'm so angry with him all the time. I have no answer except at the moment I'm angry with everything. Feel bad for making him feel bad. Poor Mr CP.
