I am getting better. I can now swallow without it being too painful but coughing is excruciatingly painful. I am getting more sleep too.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Calley - I don't know the full story of your husband etc, but I did notice you say he wasn't the man you met etc......... I wondered.........how would you feel about him now if you met him today, as the man he is today without comparison to who either of you were before? (versus some of the idiots you have chatted to?) how would he stack up?0 -
faerie - hope it goes ok with the GP today. Would it help to write some things down to take with you (lack of basic facilities at home, impact on your mental health etc). Don't know about you but my mind goes utterly blank as soon I get in front of a dr - then I come out kicking myself for not saying anything I'd intended to. Hope you get some help xx
melly - have you spoken to your gp about tramadol? I really need to sort the codeine again - managed to taper and have week with nothing but that was before Christmas and I'm right back up with the amount I'm taking again. Hope you hear from the agency today (chase them!!) there's clearly some sort of job offer there.0 -
Escapette slept 7.30pm to 8am!! Shame I couldn't sleep at all, she is now wide awake and raring to go!0

Faerie - I hope all goes well with the doctor today and that you can get some help with sorting your housing out.
Melly - I hope you get good news from the agency soon (or at least any news rather than not knowing what's going on)
Huge hugs to anyone who needs / wants them.0 -
I would like some idea of what's going on

Definitely! Would be good to get an idea of whether an actual offer is materialising before the end of the day - rather than another weekend of wondering about it. I would be hunting down the agency :rotfl:.
Haven't heard anything about sorting the stuff in the garage so have just promised my mum I'd go round there tomorrow and finish sorting through the last few boxes in my old room. Have managed to put this off for 20yrs so it's about time! Hopefully will also have time to pop in dunelm and look at a few bits for the new bedroom. Was measuring curtains at midnight.0 -
Exactly
Whilst the whole actually does she want to be more of a grown up cos we thought she was ace is nice it's not going to put food on the table
I have been very patient I think. They've grown really quickly in a short time so their processes and stuff need to catch up is why their so disorganised, I hate stuff being disorganised though drives me nuts.0
