I posted and it dissapeared! Pollyana, yes I'm diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and severe PTSD.I have a care agency providing care for my M.E, widespread arthritis and belly problems/hernias after all the surgery that means I can't lift wet clothes/bin bags atc. I've had 5 years, fighting the mental health system to get some help. I used to have cpns, but 5 years ago, I recorded a psychiatrist shouting down the phone telling me to kill myself. He made me delete it in front of him before i could get the manager to listen to it, threatening me to get me arrested for recording him without his permission and he blocked me from having any help.

But, I had some good news today, I'm 4th on the list for an assessment for a specialist BPD/trauma service. I get assessed in 5 weeks.. yay! It's a day centre with lots of cool drop ins, courses on managing BPD and one to one support. I feel so relieved. the last 5 years has been utter hell. I finally feel I have a chance to recover a bit and manage my mental health. I'm totally freaking out about flat situation but at least I will be supported.

I saw the gp, it's not my assigned gp, I'm going to see her next week with a list of how the flat stuff is affecting me. I got some estrogen gel to try. I went through premature menopause in my 30's and I've not been on it yet. It might lift my mood a bit and if it gets rid of hot flushes I'll be relieved. She also gave me some local anesthetic pain patches for my arthritis in my spine. I've been in such agony recently, so I look forward to trying them, as I'm on a hefty does of morphine and I don't want to increase the dose.

melly - I'd ask if they are any closer to making a decision, ask if they want to see you again, as you liked them but are obviously considering other options
