Here I was feeling massive at your tiny weights then I read WaS' post and suddenly it doesn't matter. WaS, I am so sorry that little WaS had to go through all that. You know that none of it was your fault at all, yes? If it's any help WaS, I think you're surprisingly normal for someone with such a f'd up background. As for BIL he's a selfish git and millefleur would be so much better off without him. I doubt they'll put her in a home if she's still active, although would sheltered housing be an option. Also WaSp loves you so it's definitely not your fault that he can't live there. Also, this way WaSP has his own place and independence that you don't get living with your mum.

Why is it when you really need someone to bygger off out of the office, they insist on staying late? Normally its just me by this time. Yesterday when I wanted to do some random pacing for my step count, someone wouldn't leave and today when I need to make a phonecall and do some pacing, I can't because a different person is here. Seriously! Just go home, you annoying person.

  • Big big hugs (((((WaS))))) You've been through so much and yet remain so strong, you are an inspiration.
  • Going to have to light up some scented candles right now....tmi alert coming up! First off the cat had the runs, and now D has just had an extremely explosive episode! Just need someone to pop round right now, right this very minute when the house smells like a bloody public toilet!

He's now nursing a poorly tummy....fingers crossed it isn't contagious!

I am in need of a spot of TLC. Cold, sore throat, thick head and lack of sleep followed by an emotionally draining day at work. I could cry, which isn't really like me.
Didn't help when collecting Gitdog that I got a detailed blow by blow account of each room in the house of some random person I've never met and am never likely to.
And I forgot to turn the slow cooker on this morning so have got no tea.

Right, whinge over. As you were.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Hugs (((((elsien))))) Hope you're feeling better soon. Puff up a pillow in the fort and I'll bring you some Heinz tomato soup, always good for poorly people!

What a sickener about the slow cooker :(

Poor elsien. Do you have anything good you can have instead?

Melly, please eat something, even if it's only a few bites. Ok, if you can eat 5 bites of something, I will do a challenge of your choosing, unless it's illegal, dangerous or involves heights or fire.

How rubbish Georgie. I got my dad some spray called poo- pourri that you spray in the loo before you go and it doesn't smell. It actually works which i was surprised about because it was a novelty gift. We have a scented candle in the bathroom and if that's run out, you have to light matches. Mr CP and DA dog are both very stinky and we have a better out than in fart rule. It's all very romantic in my house.

I was trawling tesco reduced items last night and got a load of offal for Gitdog for 30p, so at least he's happy.
I might be going for the quick and easy cereal option.

Today was an older person pleading with me to take them home, and not letting go of my hand. Reminded me if my grandmother.

  • It's good stuff that poo-pourri, it actually works! I bought some for D once! Oh yes, we are so romantic too! :rotfl:

Try and eat just a few mouthfuls if you can Melly. Even a few is better than none. :)

Melly, if you eat something, I'll attempt an hour's worth of challenging cross stitch without my glasses.

My eczema is playing up - the skin across the bridge of my nose has broken and the nose pads from my glasses are irritating it.

Until the swelling goes down and the skin heals, I'm living in Fuzzy World.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
