It records less than 30 seconds for me. I think the first day it takes a while to work out what a step is. I had to shake mine cause I thought it wasn't working. Then it took the shakes off :rotfl: it also doesn't seem to understand stairs.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Well now I feel really cheated!! Went to kitchen and back and it's still on zero, so looked in the help section and it says it doesn't record under 30 seconds. I don't like technology that lies to me - I have people for that!0

On a totally different subject, am being forced to listen to the two most irritating people in the office blather complete rubbish about lent. It's getting to the point where I'm genuinely finding it offensive. But they're not actually talking to me (just SO FRICKING LOUD, ALL THE TIME).0

Huh. I did not know that. That might be why it randomly takes steps away.
I wish there was a better option. I feel like I'm being punished for being an android user.
Going to very slowly walk to the kitchen. Very slowly. With a detour to the window. :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Yay for changing categories.
Although I'm not the biggest fan of BMI (mainly cos I need to lose half a stone to get out of the obese category) it is a good indication of roughly where you are and it's always nice to have an extra visual of your weight going down.
My moves app does track things which are under 30 seconds but it's a bit hit and miss as to what it counts them as. It's 25 steps from one end of my flat to the other (yes, I'm sad enough that I counted them at the weekend) and sometimes it'll add correctly and other times it shows as 5 steps...
Tea - do you know the blathering idiots well enough to join in the conversation? You have my sympathy though, there's a girl here who's so dim that I swear I lose IQ points just by having to listen to her!!0 -

I use Zombies Run and Charity Miles for running, plus I have a Misfit Flash (Like a Fitbit but you can put it on a clip as well as on wrist plus only £25) for general step counting. ZR is best for distance because you can set how long your steps are, got mine perfectly on point now after some faffing with the app and a treadmill

Another daft question - will Move work on a treadmill? I'm assuming not?
Which is a shame as that's where most of my steps come from.0 -
I don't think those work with bounts hbs.
Not sure about the treadmill. I think it might be ok with walking but don't know about running. I'm not sure how gym workouts would be calculated.
Izadora - I'm not a fan of BMI either as it fails to take build into consideration. I'm naturally Amazonian. Nothing wrong with that, but I'll never be skinny. So a healthy weight for me is always going to be at the heavier end of the bmi scale.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I'm using the Health app on my iPhone. It seems to be pretty accurate so far I think?
I think mines been recording steps for under 30 seconds? I find it is making me walk a lot more than I usually would do, although some days I do struggle to do the 7000, but it's a start I guess!
I think it would work on a treadmill tea. Because that would be classed as 20 mins of continuous activity I think (providing you do it for 20 mins of course!), and you'd get points for that.
I was lucky to get 1000 points by spinning the reward wheel. I've referred 5 people and two (maybe three? There's someone on my friends list with over 100 points but I haven't received any referral points for them yet) have completed their first 7000 steps, so that's given me another 200 points.
My premium membership has run out, I didn't make the most of the double points opportunity I guess, so am contemplating upgrading to the premium membership?0
