Pyxis, I really am very jealous of your holiday. It looks amazing!!
WaS, I hope things are a bit easier for you today.
Calley, well done on sending the forms and the decluttering.
Welly, as I've had pretty much the same non-hairstyle for about 20 years now I'm probably not the best person to give advice. If you trust your hairdresser then ask them to do something they think will suit you.
Tea, you're still at an overall loss so it's all good.
Weigh in - I've somehow managed to lose 3 pounds, despite only having been good for 2 days out of the last 7.
Positives for the week:
1. I signed up to bounts and have managed my 7,000 steps every day (admittedly I only managed Saturday's because my mate and I did the kebab shop run when everyone decided they were hungry about an hour after we got back from the pub)
2. I started doing weight watchers points again on Monday
3. I signed up to a gym
Positives for the next week:
1. I'll arrange my induction and actually set foot in the gym
2. I won't have any chocolate (I stupidly agreed to give it up for lent)
3. Errr, I'm struggling to think of another one as I woke up with the grumps today. Hmmmm, I'll try to be less of a miserable cow0 -
JM - It's a shame you can't thank posts multiple times cos you deserve it.
Melly - yes, you definitely deserve a snooze.0 -
Good
I am going to snooze no energy
Stupid no food0 -
Hi all! I've been doing that thing again where I read and think about posting but forget to actually post!
Big squishes for you WaS. I hope all of these bad thoughts and dreams bu99er off soon. JM has put it better than I ever could!
Pancake day kind of passed me by yesterday, forgot all about it! Still trying to be super good though so it's probably for the best that I forgot it!I did treat myself to a (skinny) cappuccino and a giant chocolate chunk cookie yesterday afternoon as I had a half day off work to get stuff sorted at home (LOTS of flat pack furniture building!) and I deserved a nice treat after building a whole wardrobe all by myself!
So, moving onto Wednesday Weigh In, I have lost another pound! :T Starting to flag a little now, getting a bit frowny around meal times as I'm not feeling overly inspired; just bought a bunch of different 'Be Good to Yourself' ready meals just as a bit of variety to stop me from totally falling off the wagon! I know it's better/cheaper to cook from scratch, but I don't have a lot of time on an evening (unless I want to eat at 8pm, which is far too late for me!) and when I'm just cooking for myself it doesn't seem worth the effort half the time.
3 Positives:
1. See above comment about building a wardrobe! I keep going on about it, but it was a big job, took about 4 hours and involved a lt of heavy lifting (and I even had to get the hacksaw out at one point!) but I did it without any help and I really enjoyed it! Wondering if any local colleges do woodworking courses etc??
2. I'm not 'good' with food over the weekend, but I'm making 'less bad' choices which seems to be making a difference to keeping me on the wagon.
3. A few people at work have commented on how nice I look
3 Positives for Next Week:
1. Get the rest of the furniture built and put in place; get bedroom all set up nicely!
2. Do some exercise on an evening
3. Have a good time on Saturday when I go out with my friends (for the first time in forever!) but don't fall head first into a massive pizza on the way home!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Birdie - if I'd managed to build a flat pack wardrobe by myself I think I'd be stopping strangers on the street to tell them so go on as much as you like!!
Even with two of them, it probably took about that long (and a lot of swearing) for my boyfriend and our mate to put my wardrobe together!!0 -
Birdie - reminds me of the time I dragged a flat-pack futon up a v narrow staircase and put it together by myself. That was probably 15yrs ago and I'm still telling people!
Well done - on the weight loss, furniture making and decorating. Sounds like a really productive time for you.

Morning Shipmates,
Need to sort my sleeping patterns out. Woke up about 45 mins ago.
Oh sorted out my saucepans but got a refund as well. As the set I picked was £20 less than the original ones. I had the old ones for 3 years. The new ones are still on the website at £70!!!! How silly did not want a refund!!! oh well back to my credit card and will pay for some petrol this week.
Well for lent I have given up sweets and biscuits. Need to loose weight anyway.
Got the results from the hip x-ray no further action. So what is causing the discomfort. Mind you wake up with a bad back just about every day!!!! So need to make an appointment to see the Dr and see what the next action is.
Melly,WaS and anyone else who needs it. Be kind to yourself. You would never allow anyone else to talk to you the way you talk to yourself. You are fab and great and wonderful.
Hugs and squishes and handshakes to all.
Take care
Yours

Good morning Team WaS.
WaS - listen to JM. You are not responsible or accountable for anyone else's behaviour.
Melly - take it easy today. Your body will only run on empty for so long.
Didn't manage pancakes yesterday cause Mr CP said he didn't fancy them and I couldn't be bothered making them for just me so we had a frozen pizza. Have spanish beef in the slow cooker for later.
Weigh in Wednesday - I've lost 6lbs. Given how many times I went to the loo yesterday I'm guessing there was some mega water retention going on.
So positives from last week.
1. Started bounts and have done at least 7k steps everyday and 14k for the past 2 days (+ ~ 2k steps that the app has taken off because its decided I'm a car or failed to register). Some of those spent pacing up and down to get the steps, mostly with DA dog looking at me like I'm nuts.
2. Made 2 new recipes. Both weren't great but at least I tried. Tonight's dinner is also a new recipe.
3. I managed to stop eating a bag of salty snacks midway through. I never do that.
4. I am now over 50% fluent in Portuguese and have now learned phrases like ' They found the body in the woods' and 'Our enemies will suffer'.
For next week:
1. Keep on top of the housework and try to clean up one dumping ground of doom.
2. Try to enjoy my birthday and eat cake without worrying about it.
3. Make a conscious effort to eat less and move more.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
