We did! Though they were huge as I used self raising flour instead of plain.
Hair cut tomorrow. What style would suit a big forehead and pointy nose that is easy to maintain? I currently have something resembling a mullet0 -

Husband only had self raising flour as well. It was a tad of a bodge job mixing them as he has no scales LOL!!! And the first time I have managed to get some decent ones. And did not melt any utensils :rotfl: And as my mum says the first one is always rubbish as the pan is never hot enough.
No idea welly. I tend to stay with longish hair as I a right lazy moo and can't be arsed faffing around with it. I do cut my own hair in to long layers. And it does not look to bad. But then I hate going to hairdressers as they talk so much drivel and the price.

WaS - The forms are awful and I know exactly what you mean. We all live in a kind of bubble of our own limitations and don't think about what this is compared to outside the bubble where the world is. Forced to acknowledge our problems is tough and can bring up all kinds of difficulties. I dread getting my form to complete and my problems are not much in comparison to yours.
Welly - no help here. Can't remember the last time I was at a hairdresser but it's at least a couple of years. My hair grows slowly and not all at the same rate.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Weigh-in... have put on 1.5lbs (overall - 2lb). Tbh I'm surprised it's not more considering what I've eaten this week! Oh well.... bit late to worry about it now.
Positives for the week:
1. Have been to the gym for the last three weeks. Only managing once a week at the moment, but that's a huge improvement on not going at all for nearly a year.
2. Have signed up to bounts. Although am struggling to get it to do anything but hey, it's a start.
3. Finished reading a great book, that always cheers me up!
Positives for the next week:
1. Found a great birthday card for my sister, it keeps making me laugh!
2. Hoping to book some tickets for a show.
3. Starting a lent course tomorrow with a group of friends.0 -
Morning all! I've signed on to give WaS a telling off for being unkind to one of her clients, called Wuv and Squishes. (OK, the name may be disguised a bit.) I've penguined it as it relates to abuse.
WaS, you know about abuse, don't you, and how it works? You know that the abused person loses their confidence and begins to feel responsible for the abuse, that they have done something wrong? So how can you tell Wuv and Squishes (yourself) off for doing this? Plus in your case you have also never had a proper upbringing which shows you where you end and others begin, and where your powers end and others' begin. In particular, you have been told lots that you were responsible for the death of your parents, which absolutely wasn't the case. So now you feel responsible for the possible abuse of other children WHILE YOU WERE BEING ABUSED YOURSELF. If a client came to you with these problems, you could see quite clearly that it wasn't their fault, couldn’t you? So can you look after your inner client, please?
Loads of hugs to you and Lucee - and to anyone else who would like one, including lurkers! xxxxx
PS Love the elephant. I have a similar photo somewhere- although come to think of it mine might have been taken in Jaipur rather than SL. I remember an elephant orphanage in SL though, and getting very wet arms feeding them!
