    That's good melly.

And in other news, last night was dog training night. :D

We warmed up before hand by practicing keeping all 4 feet on the floor while saying hello to other dogs. He successfully managed two sensible hellos before blowing it with a vertical take off and landing onto a red setter. Still, you can't have everything.

Last night training was the off lead stay then recall to heel. Attempt A was interspersed with an unplanned detour via the people watching on the settee. They were under strict instructions not to react but apparently that's not easy when there's an excited bull terrier nibbling your ear. Attempt B started with me calling him and him looking interested but immobile. After that he was good as gold, having provided the entertainment value for the evening.
Trainer says you can see the mental 2 fingers he sticks in the air when he doesn't want to do something. :rotfl:

    Terriers are really independent
Boo or From steal something (current favourite is tomcats duck) and you can actually see then thinking er no you can't have it its MINE! trying to get it off them involves having to distract otherwise they won't give it up.

Waiting for healthy minds call back.

Froo also likes to show you the dog treats whilst attempting to appear to be starving
  • That's great that they're rearranging the interviews Melly :)

    Welcome tigger

Found something that makes exercise and walking more interesting to me. That bounds app that gives you points, that when you have enough can be converted to vouchers. I think I'll save mine up for a tesco voucher. I think it'll take longer than originally thought as I don't go for regular walks, but I seem to respond well to something that has a competitive and rewarding edge to it. Same when I quit smoking, I used an app for that too.

I have a confession to make though :o I did a lot of walking yesterday and thought that surely I've got up to my 7000 steps, but no, I was a few hundred off. I was like I'm damn well sure I haven't got that close for nothing, I want my points....so I shook my phone for abit! :o I know I know, I cheated, I'm not proud! :rotfl:

An app that gives you vouchers for walking? That sounds fantastic!!
  • I saw it advertised on this site, think it was in the free money saving email, although I saw it on the right hand side of this page.

If you or anyone else wants a referral (I didn't mention it for that reason, I honestly didn't, but whilst we're on the subject :o I was just pleased I'd found a way to make exercising more fun!) let me know, and I'll give you my referral code, and then we'll both get a hundred extra points.

My phone is like a limpet by my side all the time now, even if I go to the loo! :rotfl:

My neighbour goes for a really long walk every day, am tempted to say here, take this phone with you! :D Only joking, I'm not that bad! :p

If you let me know your referral code that'd be great. I would probably have got it anyway so it's good that you'll get extra points as well.
Not only will it make me more likely to walk, I'm hoping it'll make me better at not forgetting to pick my phone up when I'm going out :D

I'll get on board with that georgie. I usually manage to do my 10,000 steps a day. Only trouble is, it doesn't link to my Shealth app.
