A good and bad day but I am home in my pj's on the sofa now. With a slight sicky headache.
Stuck to healthy eating all day.
Nearly fainted in littlewing's optician's appointment. Think this was a combination of dehydration and the new coil messing with my cycle as I had a sharp pain in my left which I assume was an ovary pinging.
Used my Boots points to stock up on vitamins which are on three for two.
Went on the scales and found that I am 106.something kg, which is a good 20kg higher than I thought I was going to be, especially as I know I have lost a lot. So I am trying to not be totally p'd off about it. Can clothes, longer hair and pooh weigh 20 kg do you reckon, or do I need to start leaning on the wall again when I weigh myself?
Dragged myself to M and S to get my fitting for my sports bra. I have lost two inches off my chest. So that actually cheered me up enough to buy the sports bra and two others.
Men - you may want to skip this bit about the coil:
My coil fitting the other day was with a male doctor (and the lovely female nurse). I have to say that he was brilliant. Apart from when I had heels together, legs apart and a tube gently expanding me and he said, 'Nurse, can you pass me the instructions, please?'
I said, 'When has a man ever asked for instructions? Now you have me worried!'
Bless him, he had to explain that the coil itself had changed slightly and the most recent new style that he did fell apart. They are not cheap, apparently.
PS I really like the minions quotes.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Oh Whitewing, that did make me chuckle! Your description of that "instructions" moment!
And then to end it by talking about Minions!
Only on WaS's thread! Only on WaS's thread! :rotfl:
There's no other like it for eclectic conversation! :rotfl:

Pyx - doing the hot/cold thing can negate the need for the aircon service as it "cleans" the system, so,unless it needs regassing, it is a good way to save money by skipping an air con service.0
