They are brilliant, JM! I am wearing my leopard onesie right now, I need a sleeping bag one, too! I shall be taking mine into the winter corner of the fort!

You have just reminded me, Pyxis of how much I really want a Bagpuss.

I have just been emailed by my lovely sleep professor. He is about to get a bit stuck because the next stage of the sleep programme is sleep restriction. On no account can I do this because it can cause hallucinations in those with psychosis. So he is going to speak to another professor who specialises in psychotic thoughts and they will both be in touch. Yay, another professor. I am losing track...

Meh. I'm in a mood. Next stage of the interview process is a numeric test. I can't math. :(

Pyxis - thanks for the link. Android doesn't do flash but i enjoyed looking at the pictures and now I can watch

  • Do your best code, it might be easier than you think! You have already done so well to get to this stage.

MSE fixed avatars for the new layout, I can finally see everyone's avatar! This makes me happy.

My tree is up! It has lights of many colours, kind of like the rest of the living room really.

So jealous WaS. Haven't got around to doing mine, mainly because I'd have to move stuff and go into the attic for the decorations. Things would be a whole lot easier if other people (cough Mr CP cough) would actually do some tidying instead of leaving it all for me.

I have a dilemma....would really appreciate some advice. FOH keeps texting me. Usually asks me to meet up/go get food etc at least 3 times a week (for last couple of months since I pretty much cut contact). Any invites get a polite "no thanks". Anything else (" miss you" etc) I don't reply to.

There's been some essential contact about belongings, work contacts etc. I've kept these polite and distant, if that makes sense....just stuck to the essentials.

Just had another text about how it would be good to see me, and saying that he needs to drop my Christmas presents round! !!!!!!, I wasn't even planning on sending a christmas text!

I don't want to have to be rude but it's looking like I have no choice. I've previously said that he needs to accept we're not together and let it go but it's not getting through. Am getting annoyed tbh. He never paid the slightest attention when it mattered, but as ever he now wants what he can't have.

What can I say that gets the point across but without being mean? Bearing in mind that my house and garage are still full of his stuff so will have to see him again at some point!

    tea,

You are absolutely lovely, but I can't help wondering if FOH is partly struggling to the build up to Christmas.

I think I would just keep ignoring the texts for now.

BTW, did you get presents sorted? If you still need me to have a wander around the internet, could you remind me of the recipient details.

    Bunny pics yet, Calley?

Will have to be tomorrow as been busy all day. tree up, let husband decorate it

He just chucks things at it :rotfl:

Not put a tree up in years. Mind you I have even done a stocking for my lodger. Only spent about £5. As I know he wont be getting much else this year.

The tree lights I bought a couple of years ago in the sales after xmas and never used them. Found out they have about 6 different functions.

    Nearly finished all the shopping.

Hugs and handshakes and squishes to all that need them. And love the sleeping bag suit. I want one of those :rotfl:

Polite but firm. And direct. Direct sounds necessary at this point, and is always good IMO (at least, I prefer it when dealing with people, as I'm hopeless at inferring stuff ).

e.g. "I know you've got a load of stuff to collect and I'm happy to arrange that, but other than that I don't want to see you."

I should point out I'm rubbish at people, so my advice may not be the best.:o
