Go Tim! I have spoken to him, Pyxis! I have been following him on Twitter for 18 months all the way through his training and we have chatted on occasion. He was very, very excited to go.

I have the weirdest interests ever, I have no idea what anyone what anyone would make of me on a dating site. Sci-fi of all kinds, horror films and books, pharmacology, animals, earthquakes, astrophysics, antique toys, psychology, Victoriana and archeology to name a few. I am so random.

Oh and Birdie, I OWN every episode of Star Trek!

    Bunny pics yet, Calley?

I love the advent calendar! Please keep posting them!

The tree is going up today! The lights don't work but WaSp who can fix all things electronic says it is the control box and an easy fix.

Like Birdie, I can't really see the advent calendar (I can see them as a still pic, but not the fanciness) but I'm still enjoying them anyway :)
  • Oh, Birdie that is amazing! I really do need that! I am passing the link onto WaSp, he can just get me that alone for Christmas and I will be overjoyed!

I love them pyxis. I look for them as soon as I get into MSE. when littlewing emerges from her snuggle cocoon she always asks if it is Christmas yet and I know exactly how many days are left!

I want a snuggle cocoon, whitewing!

Incidentally, I am very proud of myself today. I woke within 5 minutes of my scheduled waking time without an alarm. The sleep therapy is working and is a fast solution so far.

A snuggle cocoon sounds amazing - let's install some in the fort!

Can we also have some dinosaur candles?? (it'll be perfectly safe, somehow we've ended up with loads of H&S people on this thread... it's like we were all drawn together :D)

I have very much run out of motivation before I have run out of afternoon.

ETA: Pyxis, I don't comment on your advent posts as I can't see them at work (blocked) and my laptop at home is odd and doesn't show them (it's odd and fussy and missing Flash Player/will only run Firefox which is a bit awkward I think) but if I could see them, I'm sure I'd love them!

Can you view videoclips on Youtube? If so, I can give you the URL addresses and you could view them there.

I didn't realise you couldn't see them! It's worth going to the addresses if you see youtube as they're so well done and so sweet. It's making me want to do some stop motion animation! But then I love the Clangers, Bagpuss and Wallace and Gromit!

  • We also have some of these in the fort - all labelled with your names! (It's a bit magic, as some of them are ready labelled for silent lurkers or new people :D)
