I can't wait to see your bunny, calley! Congratulations on your new arrival.
Hope everyone is doing well/much better tonight. Have a peaceful evening.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

had a major meltdown on saturday as basically i didn't have as much money as i thought and couldn't afford to pay my rent )or pay back Swain the money i owe him for xmas pressies hes bought)
but just like that, he sorted everything out. I was fretting that id have to get a payday loan, and worrying about everything, and he sat me down and said "Bex, you're my girlfriend, we've been together almost a year, and will be together for many many more, i'm in a position to help you, i can afford it, so i shall lend you what you need and this will all be sorted"
I could have criedhe just seems to have this magical ability to make all my worries go away. I'm very lucky to have someone who is there for me. Oh and the three words which have thus far only been said in messages were finally said aloud, and it felt wonderful

Oh Swain is so lovely, so glad you found each other MU!
Looking forward to seeing the Bunny Calley!
So glad you're getting over the infections Faerie! Try not to think about how your stomach looks for now, hopefully the odd bumps will go down soon and you need to focus on just getting better right now rather than worrying about how you look. That's a worry for another year (since we're so close to the end of this one I can say that!).
Since it's now 10 days to go I feel like it's a good time for Christmas music in the office (I'm in a small office out of 'general population' so there's only 5 of us and they all want it!). Got my hands on a lot of different albums last night, starting with The Buble (because you've got to!) but also go Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green (who knew he had a Christmas album? Sounds amazing!) and Dean Martin... plus a few others! :santa2:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Faerie - may sound stupid but try to focus on getting better rather than how your tummy looks. You've not long had major surgery so bear in mind swelling will make it look and feel worse.
Birdie that sounds wonderful. My team aren't so Christmassy so I've been streaming. Christmas music through my earphones. Christmas time, don't let the bells end.
So tired. Kept waking in the night worrying about a piece of work I'm doing. Guess its really stressing me out.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
MU, that's so lovely
code, I can empathize, all of my sleep problems at present are work related (in my case deadline pressure from people outside the company, rather than any inability to provide a solution).
tea, the whole business of talking to multiple people at once on online dating sites is one of the big things that scares me off if I'm honest, I'm very much a "one at a time" person in this regard.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
My office is miserable! We've got a Christmas lunch thing tomorrow (with secret santa, Christmas jumpers, music, tinsel...we had to throw the lot at one hour of festivities) but other than that no Christmas music.
Think I've got the erasure Christmas album (seriously - it's amazing!) on my phone. Might have a listen to that this morning. Hopefully it will somehow inspire me to do some work.
BUNNY PICS PLEASE!!!!0 -
Yes, Faerie, Code is right. What matters is that you're healing and that the problem that caused you all that pain is no longer there. The body will remodel as it heals. It could take a year to really settle down.
No-one's going to see your tummy, are they?
Even at the beach/pool there are some lovely costumes to wear, it doesn't have to be a bikini! I never wear a bikini because I'm so bulgy!(I just lurve spiders!)
