    Morning my Lovelies,

Well what a really carppy night. Did not get to sleep until 3 and gone and been in and out of sleep since about 8am.

Heard my phone ring but it was on the other side of the room. So didn't bother. Someone left a voice mail. Oh well that explains about the bloke. Not been in contact with him since thursday. This morning I get a voice mail from some bloke with the same name urmmm surprise. But he said another womans name and he said I not interested got a gf who I love stop texting me  and he is the only person I have given my number to in the last few days.

Make me feel so much better not :(

The bridge is great and there is a second series as well. The main female character is great. Wish I could be a little be more like her and not give in to my emotions. There are reasons why she is like that but you find out later about all of that.

I am going to retreat to a quiet place in the fort and snuggle up in a duvet and be quiet. I will bring some oreos and milk to share.

Hugs, handshakes and squishes to all that need them.

    Yours

    Calley

  • Good luck to Pyxis and whitewing on their scary things today. Get your giant fly swatters out and swat them!

Have fun, JM! I shall have to Google what you will be playing!

Ignore the grumps at your party Welly, I bet it was wonderful, some people are never happy.

I, too have crush on Peter Capaldi, and David Tennant for that matter. Last night's episode was wonderful, the perfect happy ending suited to me!

All ok here, other than the poor flooded people I am loving the weather right now. I am so odd in this way, I just love autumn and winter and my mood improves too, the opposite to what everyone else's seems to do! I am even vaguely considering putting up decorations.

You husband is so lucky to have you Calley, you are such a good friend to him.

Thank you WaS you are so kind. On days like this. Just don't want to get up or go anywhere or do anything.

Just feel worthless and hopeless and whats the point in anything as someone will come along and kick me in the teeth!!!!

Oh well never mind. Another day tomorrow.

    Yours

Ah calley, we love you. And even though the fort is there for snuggles and huddles and simply 'to be', we will shoehorn you out (with a bit of elastic pinned to your back so you come back) if you show signs of getting too comfortable in it!

melly, good plan about a and e. 6 months seems such a long time but maybe it will be easier to handle in the summer sunshine anyway.

Well, so far I have put on two loads of washing, written some Xmas cards and read a bit of the paper.

And had about two hundred ideas for extra xmas things I could make/do that are fun but would just create so much extra work that it is not worth it.

Does anyone know how long it may take for a small gift to come from the USA? (Etsy). Wondering whether to buy it.

WaS, re millefleur. One of the presents I do for female close relatives sometimes is to get or make a pretty box or gift bag and then put in unused birthday cards. So for example, I may get it for my one lady where money and mobility is tight, and I would put in a sister-in-law card, husband card, 2 son cards, sister, brother etc plus some of thank you cards, maybe some blank cards etc. It goes down so well because they are set up for the following year, but also because you know the family members it is relatively easy to choose the cards that the giver would give and recipient would like.

In fact, it went down so well last year, that this year my very busy DS, who is away from home, actually asked me to get his family Christmas cards for his late autumn birthday. (He did ask me to write them too but I told him he had to make some effort). But I addressed and stamped them too.

Card factory do some pretty and cheap cards. (And still better quality than some of the cards my elderly relatives send).

It's a good present because you can tailor it to budget.

I am just lying on my bed listening to xmas music and not even pretending that I am going to do anything.

I did look through my amazon wishlist, which I had forgotten I had because I don't use it really. I ordered the schizophrenia book that we talked about in April or thereabouts. I love nothing more than a pile of books for xmas. So, any recommendations for true life stories (pretty much any subject considered as long as it is reasonably well written) or psychological thrillers/crime books?

The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

I am feeling so low at the moment. Haven't felt this bad in a long time.
