I have such an enormous crush on peter capaldi. Just thought I'd share that here as not sure I can admit to anyone in real life.
As you were0 -
So have I, a bit. But we watched Paddington here last night (we are SOOO mature in this house!) and I was amazed at how crusty and ugly he could be as Mr Curry!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Yeah it's definitely just that one character. It may even just be the jacket!0

Me too! He's got a gorgeous smile!
I didn't think anyone could beat DT as Dr Who, but PC has only gone and done it.
The town that flooded in 2009 had flooded againA lot of the businesses couldn't or didn't get insurance again, so here's hoping they haven't been as badly affected as last time.
We've just been down to the supermarket to stock up on essentials just incase the weather gets even worse. The main road into town, the street lights were out, it was quite spooky actually. :eek:0 -
Evening my lovelies,
Hugs and squishes and handshakes to all. Will bring milk and double chocolate oreos with me.
Well a bit of a mixed bag today. went to see my husband and watched two columbos but only after I made him sort out this big box of crud.
it had stuff in it from the last couple of years including reply envelopes and the ones he had opened to take the post out of and leaflets shoved through the letter box etc etc. I told him I would set a timer for 15 mins but I wanted it finished as knew if I did not push him he would just chuck most of it back in to the box. He never asked about the timer until after we finished. I reckon it took at least and hour and half and two bin liners of rubbish.
Sorted out his table and put his xmas tree on it and dropped one leaf down as well. I have tons of stuff to get rid of but he has a nice clear floor. He chucked a bit of paddy about it. Saying I was trying to organise him. I said it was better for his physical and mental health having a tidier place. And he can find stuff!!!! Does not need to be perfect. Also he has a cleaner and I feel sorry for her as she can't do the job properly as there is so much carp everywhere. Also his son and partner and grandchild are coming tomorrow so it needed to be a bit tidier.
when I said him did it look better he said might have done. damn well knew it was. If left to him there would just be stuff all over the place. will hold fire for the rest of the week and see what happens.
Home and in bed and feeling sorry for myself. Just feel lonely dumb I know. As I have spent most of the day with my husband. Just want someone for me. But I just don't think it is meant to be. So a subject best left well alone.
well everyone take care. And catch you all again soon.
Oh I will RSVP for the party on xmas eve as I doubt I will get any other offers!!!!
Yours

Moo - I have responded to yer PM, but take a deep breath before reading it. No wonder you are stressed - horrible situation to be in. Big {squishes}
If it continues to be a problem and having a H&S consultant assess it will help - just let me know and I will come up. (You can also borrow my baseball bat if you like?!?!?!)0 -
lmao - tea, I just had to look up who peter capaldi is! Hmmmmmmm..........If I had to have a doctor, I'd take David!
But I would rather have Ian Somerhalder!!!0 -

I do wish the BBC could move the start of Strictly around to finish at a time that means Dr Who always finishes at 9pm, so I can turn straight over to BBC4 for whatever they are showing! I can't possibly be the only person that watches Dr Who and foreign language detective shows in the same evening ...Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
