Well, I attempted the Very Scary Thing#2 and it was awful. So it made me feel a lot worse. It ain't over, either. Got to try again tomorrow.

So am at home in bed with crisps and yumyums and gin and tonics and recordings of "An Island Parish". Pathetic.
And I haven't even started on the bank statements. :(

  • Oooo Pyxis, so sorry :( Do PM if any help would be useful.

Sorry I've been so quiet - I've been busy though, for this thread for a while.... ;)

  • Aw, hugs Pyxis. sometimes these things take several attempts. Even a few attempts can make it a bit easier eventually so well done for what did do today. You know where I am if I can help at all in anyway, always here for you.

A party? There's a party! YAY! I'm excited now! Count me in!

I would be doing the same as you (I love yum yums etc) but I have been waiting for a parcel delivery for two days so daren't go anywhere, even upstairs.

Br good to yourself and it is not pathetic - it is essential at the moment.

    Earplugs no use?

I am tidying, in theory. In practice the junk seems to be moving round the house and replacing other piles. Kind of a cluttery version of musical chairs.
Wonder if Gitdog would tolerate a party outfit? (think I know the answer already.)

Hope all you Oop North people have battened down the hatches. Sibling tells me their road is closed already - Cumbria.
