    Hahahaha, that was lovely Pyxis!

They're all done by someone called Buffy. She's done a whole load of stop animation clips, and this Advent Countdown series.
Very clever, when you think it's not just the idea for each day of advent, but the music to go with it, making all the pieces for the graphics, and how each graphic has to move around the screen.

    I'm very impressed.

The Other Very Scary Thing can't wait until Monday. I've left it two days already. I'll have to go and do some of it today, but it's an ongoing thing, so the scariness continues. At least if I can do a bit, I might feel better.

Then there's yet another Scary Thing, #3, that must be addressed, as it'll only get worse if left any longer, and I've left it nearly two years. :(

And finally there's a #4 scary thing, which might be ok, but I'm scared to look.

What's the matter with me? :(
    I feel I need exorcising! :D

The upside is that these things have made me so anxious that I've even done a little bit of sorting out of junk things, just in a small way so far, as a way of avoiding the even scarier things.
I'm hoping I can keep that up.

Eeeeeek! Too many Scary Things! For some reason I got an image in my head of you holding a giant fly swatter and swatting little clouds of dark foggy Scary Things! Go swat the one that needs it today, as you say it might make you feel a bit better to have started dealing with it. Throw something nice in there too, Banana Beer is essential at times like this!

Yay for dealing with junk, though! Something good is coming out of it! Want to deal with my paperwork next by any chance? I have 4 folders of papers, some going back 8 years. I really do not bank statements from back then anymore. I may make it a New Year's Resolution to finally sort it out.

Hahahaha! I could easily sort someone else's paperwork!

Funnily enough, as well as the scary thing #2, I do intend to get my bank statements and slips into order today, and weed out any papers that can be chucked.

Hahahahahaha! Found this on the FunnyPeculiarThings thread!

:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • Morning all :)

Thanks for the advent animations Pyxis, they remind me somewhat of Jackie Lawson animated cards :)

Hope you manage to at least get some of the scary things done, and that you feel better for doing so (((hugs)))

Love the sound of your bell decoration WaS! :) I want something to go on the front door, although in this weather it'll probably be blown away. A lot of the county has been flooded (we've been lucky) quite badly, and it's real batten down your hatches weather here right now.

Sloths! :D So cute WW! I saw a car yesterday called the Citroen Sloth! I mean I love sloths, but what a name for a car! :p

It's my Mam's birthday today, and I can't wait to see her face when she sees the Pandora bracelet and charms we got for her! I got it in America, so have been itching to give her it since we got back! :D

I am watching Miracle on 34th Street and this is horrible! They have set the poor, sweet old man up! It's a good job I am doing well mental health wise or I'd be crying my eyes out. This had better have a happy ending. This is not a safe film for WaS!

    It is WaS.
It's bittersweet so stick with it.

  • I really hope you get some rest Melly, I am so sorry that OH is so anxious, I know how hard it is for you.

Ok, the film improved, I knew Father Christmas was real!
