**runs through fort trailing sheets of paper and babbling**
For once, no cement and paint as today was my first day at University................................................ **head explodes**..................oh me and my clever ideas!!!!!!!!!!
IBS decided to kick in for the first time in ages this morning due to the nerves and **all hell** broke loose - thankfully managed to make it to uni and get into the reception toilets in time - not a great start - but you guys can gain some amusement from the image of a 40 year old running panicked through 20,000 teenagers looking for a toilet!!!!!
Jury is currently out on whether this was a good idea or not - course and tutors seem nice, administration is woeful - they can't even tell us how much the course is going to cost!! I will be at uni for the next 3 days solidly - so will get through that and see how good the quality of teaching is and then make a decision next week...............
And I felt SO OLD!!! The difference in university now, compared to when I went 20 years ago was astounding and I had my first ever real feeling of being "older generation".
HAven;t had a chance to catch up on thread and probably won't till sunday so hugs n {Squishes} to all and forgive me if I run through ranting about students from now on............
and a bit of cuteness for ya......... my hubby got up early and came with me to uni and walked me all the way to the gate before giving me a kiss and a hand squeeze and wishing me luck before he had to go to work ...........awwwwwwwwwww. gotta luv em sometimes!0 -
Awww, how sweet of hubby!
You will be fine, Flybaby! See how it goes and give yourself time to get used to how things work, you might be loving it in 3 days time!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Oh, wow I love that, whitewing! That is definitely going on the list, it is unusual enough for her to accept it as a gift! I have always wanted a cuckoo clock too, but they will be out of the range of what I am comfortable about her spending. Thank you!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Whitewing, I'm making you my official gift chooser! (Is that a job? it should be!). You are great with gifts for Milliefleur and great with gifts for me! I love the lip glosses and the frog is adorable! These are exactly the kind of things that Milliefleur see's as gifts that she would be happy to buy!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
