I'm so ashamed of myself. I have binged every single day for the past 3 days, today being the worst. I feel icky, I want to purge and I have the worst heartburn ever. I need to hide the evidence from DH. I was doing so well :(

And Pyxis makes three! I've been pretty bad since before my holidays, then the holidays did for me, and I've been buying doughnuts and beer for the last three days, and raiding the freezer.

I was about to yell for help from JM, as I need to get back onto the 5:2 particularly as I've done no Zumba since before I injured my leg. I know I've piled weight on, and I daren't weigh myself, as I know what I'll see will depress me.

One tiny saving grace I did go for a walk this morning.

Well, that's more than I did! (But at least I didn't walk to the shop and get more doughnuts! :D )

Trouble is, if I walk too far, my gippy leg plays up. :(

I got a tesco express about 10 min walk from my house and I get in the car and drive up there to get my binge stuff

Sorry to hear you are still having issues with your leg. Have you seen the Dr about it.

No! GPs wouldn't be able to do anything for this! I'm having chiropractic treatment! Got an appointment tomorrow.

The problem was lugging my case to Oxford last week. The station I had to change trains at decided to switch platforms just as the train was coming in, and the other platform was up loads of steps and down the other side, and the lifts weren't working, so I had to lug the case myself, and it set everything off.

  • Faerie, don't go, you are always welcome here.

I saw your other thread, and with hindsight it probably wasn't the best thing to post it, but I (and others) totally understood what your reason for posting the thread was and your intention behind it.

Ignore the one or two (mainly one!) people who jumped in and tried to make it all about them. All I can say is that if that person was having to question whether or not they offended you in your original thread, then they must have a guilty conscience.

Good evening all! It has been a bit of stressful day here. My teacher friend had a huge panic attack and called me. When I knew him as a child he had begun to have panic attacks and we would talk about them because I was having them too. His were very bad often resulting in him going to A&E. He hasn't had one for over 10 years so completely panicked about panicking. His wife was out and he was worried about her seeing him like that because she has never witnessed it before so he called me and he could barely talk. He felt like he was going to faint at any moment and was hyperventilating badly.

As these things sometimes do it came out of nowhere, he isn't worried about anything in particular. We stayed on the phone for over an hour until he felt ok which was a massive effort for me because I am really bad with phones. He is shaky now but calmer and we emailed back and forth for another hour afterwards.

Now I am really worried about him in case it happens again. I told him to call me day or night if he needs me and we have agreed to email 3 times a day for now so I know that he's ok. The problem is that he is now anxious about having another which makes it all the more likely to happen. If it happens a couple of more times I have asked him to consider going to his GP. I want to drive up the motorway and be there! Not that I could really do anything helpful, of course...
