Thanks for the welcome back wishes everyone - lovely to be back! :)

Happy birthday Frizzle, hope you're having a lovely day!

Monday list updated in my previous post - not bad going I think. Didn't get the bed built as it turned out to be more complicated than we thought (the headboard all came in pieces rather than pre-built and will involve gluing and hammering to put it together) so that's this evening's job.

    Today's list as below:

Tense Tuesday: Bedroom of Choice (am going to do both bedrooms ahead of parents arriving Thursday)

    Level 1
    [STRIKE]Clear that floordrobe!
    Deweb, dust & vac.[/STRIKE]
Strip and remake the bed - did our bed but not the spare bed as didn't have time to go and get duvet and pillowcases

    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Wash a window or two.
Wipe down the cupboard doors and drawer fronts.
    Clean any grubby finger marks.[/STRIKE]

    Level 3
    HHI.
    21 fling boogie.
    Organise a drawer or shelf.

    Extras:

    • Check your bills / regular payments.
    • Tidy your jewellery.
    • Use up a product - moisturiser etc
    • HH me time.
    • Phone a friend

    My list for today
    [STRIKE]S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    Wash up after dinner
    Tidy living room before bed
Check weather and get outfit ready for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
Buy duvet and pillowcases for spare bed
    Cancel laptop insurance
Ring mobile phone company to change account direct debit is paid from
Ring vets to check what time cats' appointment on Thursday is
Get cat carriers out of shed
[STRIKE]Put out bins for tomorrow morning[/STRIKE]
Clean paint off our bed frame
Clean paint off our bedroom door
    [STRIKE]Help husband build bed[/STRIKE]

    Afternoon all.

Dailies are sort of done, there's only the kitchen stuff left but I've still got to have lunch and I'm waiting on clean cleaning cloths so thats pending. I have a stinking headache today not helped by the builders next door, the washing machine going, only having 3 hours sleep* and the dog pushing his hard treat filled ball around the laminate floor banging into things. Painkillers have not helped.

*I only got 3 hours as when I went to let the dog out to pee at midnight before I went to bed there was someone breaking into next door through the kitchen roof. I called the police (more out of concern for our safety as I saw him and he saw me!) and when they forced entry trying to catch them instead of a burglar they found a small cannabis farm  So I ended up being awake until well gone 2am by the time the police had finished dealing with the house. The dog had to sleep in my room due to all the banging as he was pacing and trying to get to the policemen through the curtains or door (he doesn't like people having conversations right outside the house, or men :o) so he decided my bed was more comfortable than his and that every half hour or so he had to let himself out the bedroom and go and jump on DD to get her up. At 4.30am I locked my bedroom door so he couldn't escape again and I could get some sleep. Then my alarm went off at 6am so he jumped all over me.

I need to start work properly. Just moving stuff around on the desk is not doing the job, but first the washing machine has finished so I'm going to hang the cloths out to dry. Maybe the sun will wake me up and I'll be able to function :(

    Hello lovelies

What an exciting night you've had Nicki  Did you have any idea there was something dodgy going on next door?

JTTOU - what's the fundraiser in aid of and are the tickets for a dinner, music evening or what? Personally, I'm rubbish at asking for money but have a friend who is a master, so could ask her for some tips for you if you give more details x

Happy birthday Frizzle - enjoy yourself :bdaycake:

Not much flying done here - frantically cooking and/or freezing fruit from the orchard - seriously looking at buying another freezer to store it all!

Got and hour and a half before I have to collect Small from school, so heading upstairs to tackle my bedroom now....

Nothing that shouted something dodgy was going on. I assumed the bloke worked long shifts (I know people who regularly work 12+ hours a day) or was basically living somewhere else but kept this house for benefit reasons. (Okay, I know that's dodgy but you know what I mean) It was always a warm house as well, but I assumed he just liked the house hot :o

    Frizzle - Happy Birthday :D

Work is really taking its toll today, so tired, definitely going to go to bed when the babies go to sleep, feel frazzled! Have a morning off of everything tomorrow! So going to treat myself to breakfast in the city and have a nosey around mark de pri.

Feel bad as there's tons of ironing, maybe I'll do an hour of that whilst littlies bath. Could do with doing some washing too..... Hmmm maybe not such an early night. Going to have egg fried veggie rice for dinner though, yum yum!

    Happy birthday Frizzle xx

Been out much of the day but sorted pe kits etc. not that they'll do pe this week I think.

I'm procrastinating about defluffing the sweaters:(

Think I've got a head cold but am self-medicating so at the moment it's just that feeling of burning eyes. Right. Defluffing. Now.

Skim reading to check that no-one's having a melt down and as soon as I read that I thought, 'Hmm, sounds ideal for weed ....'

Handwashing drying at long last, last of the WM loads pegged out and blowing in the sun (ideal) and only three things need to be rewashed on hot hot hot settings.

I've finished insulating the loft hatch. Now I need a really windy day to check I've done the trick.

Bit of carpet sucking in order here if there's any charge left in the stick cleaner because I was using it to keep the work area clean where I was sawing up polystyrene with the bread knife, and then I'm done on the flying front for the day.
    Better is good enough.
