  • Bossy hugs x It will do no harm having a massive cry. It may also mean you can keep it together when you drop her off tomorrow.

Some stuff done from my list. It means at least the kitchen no longer looks like a bomb site. Internet shopping not done as too desperate for food, will go to a real life shop in the morning. catch you all later x

Haven't done much tonight - but trying to stay motivated and ontop of things!!

Emptied and reloaded dishwasher and straightened kitchen.

Tidied bedroom (bedding always changed on Sundays). Put a dark wash on and cleaned / polished all blinds upstairs. The dust was shameful:)

Trying to decide which room for tomorrow! Think the study would benefit rom some attention - I feel a bonfire coming on

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Hope all the tired peoples get a good night's sleep. Lack of sleep is soo debilitating and, apparently, leaves you more susceptible to the dreaded coughs and colds.

Can't believe my "little" DD is starting proper school. Just wish her daddy could see her now. I've been fine about this all summer, looking forward to it. But now it's actually here, and I've put them to bed, I can't seem to stop the tears....
I know he'll be in all of your hearts the morrow and it's totally fine to shed a few tears. Try to just see it as another step along the way. Sending a big squishy hug for you all.

  • Bossy As piggers said. He is with you and them. I have met them and they are wonderful children and a credit to you both. I know I can't really comment as I don't have children, but as someone with a general aversion to children - yours were some of the best I've met:D

Have a good cry. It's cathartic.

  • Wow Bossy Have you appropriated piggers Spyders.

We have guests this weekend, and I have 2 spare rooms to prepare (1 being the room of doom) Unfortunately the ROD is primarily DH's. Maybe I can get him on board as it's HIS relatives visiting.

Will keep you all informed. If I haven't been seen by this evening, please send the flymobile with restorative Hot Chocolate :D

  • Morning everyone

Hugs to anyone feeling emotional about the littlies going back. Hard not to think about what DS might have been doing today had he been well but no point in dwelling on that.

Cupboard units wiped down and kitchen floor washed (I am catching up). Just having my cuppa then I will hang the washing out and put the recycling out.

My room of doom is the office but I guess that DS will park himself in there today so I might do that tomorrow while he is out.

Right, best not sit here too long!

    Morning alll

Going to do my normal hour's flying before the paid stuff, tidy and dust DS3's room and a little bit of ironing plus put the washing on.

I need to clean out the guinea pig cage tonight, I don't think it is pleased to be on vaccation but it is only for 2 weeks.

    Have a good day everyone.
