Pigpen - Love the wool
This evening I have juggled washing, made tea, put the throws back on the sofas, sorted out the dry laundry and stitched my bag. It feels like I've done so much more considering the time. I've also played with the dog quite a bit as his harnesses are soaking wet still so I haven't taken him out for a walk. I think it was enough exercise as he's currently curled up in a ball in his bed snoring :rotfl: Scrap that, he's just come over to me, looked at me in disgust and curled up on the sofa :rotfl:

Why can I not sleep
Anyway.. I don't know who remembers but a couple of months ago when I said I was sending a bunch of dresses to be made into gowns for angel babies.. They put out a request for help with knitted blankets so I wondered if anyone could help? I know a lot of our knitters do baby bits anyway but thought as it is a specific request someone might help?
Cherished gowns for angel babies UK is the page if you think you can help..! I'm doing some but I have a few other bits to do first.. A rainbow blanket for a rainbow baby after dd1's friend lost her little one at 39 weeks pregnant last year and is having another now .. It keeps me out of mischief!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I slept badly. A facetime call at 12.20 did not help. I didn't answer it.
Just about to take DH to the train.
I'm meeting a friend immediately after school for a catch up, then to some new paid stuff for a couple of hours. I need to go to town to buy a few bits so hopefully I'll start the list after a late lunch.
Lovely idea for the angel babies but not for me.
Wishing everyone a good day!0 -

Had very little sleep, very very grumpy! Think I will be Downing coffee all day. Children are driving me mental! Almost Glad I'm going to the paid stuff, but dealing with an even bigger kid there, aka my boss! doubt I'll get much done today, a bit of washing, ironig and floor washig possibly, either that or I'll be in bed for 7!0 -
Morning everyone
Happy birthday Frizzle.
Still feeling a bit fragile after Sundays migraine. Never had one that has affected me this badly, hope its a one off.
I have said it before but the knitters and crafters on here always impress me. It will never be my thing sadly.
New curry recipe going in the slow cooker, then off to work for hopefully a steady morning. Not sure what this afternoon brings but the hoover needs to come out - couldnt cope with the noise yesterday.
Have a good Tuesday everyone! Its grey and chilly here and I had to put the light on when I got up.0 -

Welcome back Returners! Love the knittings, Pigpen, and good luck to Mr Pigpen with his course. Happy birthday Frizzle!
Got carried away and dewebbed the whole house yesterday. Rather scarey to see how badly it needed it.
The laundry situation is getting me down. The stuff just won't dry at the moment, which results in it hanging around for days on end. I never feel I'm on top of it, and usually I do. Hey ho.Better is good enough.0 -
