    I've been with you piggers
I've cracked on with laundry and sorted kids wardrobes, got all uniform down and labelled. Still need to de fluff sweaters. Have found book bags and water bottles, and got kids bedding out on line plus another load.

Just had a shower and put chicken and jackets in oven. Need to get small people dressed

busy granny we have artichokes to try this week. I've had them, and love them, but it's more about getting the kiddies to eat more variety. So we might not be too exciting at the moment :)

  • Thanks Bossy,I will try them too.I read of a busy Mum who got her son to eat any veg by going through the alphabet and trying a new one each week. The only problem with artichokes is that they can be a bit 'windy'.

    Hi all,

I need to come back if you will have me. I'm on maternity leave at the moment with my 8 day old Dd. I had bad Spd when I was pregnant and by the end was pretty useless. Poor Dp took on all housework, cooking, child duties etc as well as working full time. Now I'm off work and able to do things again I need fly lady to stop me descending into chaos.

It's nice to see so many familiar faces still here.

I will sort a list once Dd is fed and changed and asleep. That's if she decides to sleep.

    Afternoon :D

Just popping in at the end of lunch to see where I am upto. I seem to have spent the morning sat at my desk but dog toys are now sewn up but my fingers hurt now so I'm leaving my bag until this evening. The harnesses need to be washed first as they stink so they're next in the machine.

    My list for today:
Dailies: dishes, S&S kitchen, S&S bathroom, dog walk
Sewing: [STRIKE]dog toys (Monkey, monkey, dog, duck)[/STRIKE], Harnesses x 2 (need padding attaching once they've been washed to get rid of the stink), my bag also stitched another bird & his elephant!
Washing: [STRIKE]mixed, throws,[/STRIKE] dog stuff, mats, cleaning cloths, clean cycle Run out of washing line room!
    Timetable x 2 for walls
    HGP jobs
    Accounts
    Clean wheelie bins out
    Clean front of the house

Manic Monday: Kitchen and Dining Room!
    Level 1

Starting up high, deweb corners and light fittings if it's safe.
Clean up your cooker hood and test your smoke alarms.
    Level 2
    Clear and wipe the counters.
    Wipe down cupboard fronts.
Wash a window or two, and the windowsills.
    Level 3
Wipe over the table, change the cloth if needed.
    Shine your sink.
    Sweep and mop the floors.
    Extras:
    • Meal plan - we're going to try a new veg each week for variety.
    • Catch up on any paperwork

I'm going to juggle washing and then go clean the wheelie bins out and maybe get the rest of the front clean as well. The windows will have to wait until the sun moves around a bit more though.

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    *pokes head round thread door*

Hello! I'd like to rejoin if I can - I was on here a bit earlier in the year (if anyone remembers me I was the one buying a house). We have now bought and moved into the house - as of two months ago - and have since been doing a bit of work on it as the bedrooms needed replastering and repainting. However thankfully the work is all done for the time being and I am ready to get back into flying and keeping my new nest spick and span!

We have my mum and dad coming on Thursday for a long weekend visit so have done a bit of cleaning this weekend in order to help prep for that, but am going to try and follow along with the thread whilst they're here just to keep on top of things.

Anything crossed out is done or we don't have it:
