Loving the wool! Sun-dried! Like noodles
Welcome back to the term-time flyladies! We've been back to swimming lessons- still no place in next group for DD but DS did much better now he's cracked the goggles thing.
MIL has brought DD 2 more pairs of trainers:( her cupboard has at least 3 pairs in that size - might ask around at school in case anyone needs any...
Right. They've just eaten dinner and want more... Off I go!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
ETA: wow pigpen, that wool is amazing! What are you going to knit?
And has your OH enjoyed college?
nothing.. I'm just going to look at it lol.. I love it! The girls asked me what I was doing I said painting spaghetti for their dinner!
He seems to have enjoyed it thank you.. he is so much more confident and sociable than he was when I first captured him.. I've done a good job! He is talking about the Level 4 qualification at the moment.. erm.. honey.. lets get the first week out of the way first shall we?!
Bossy.. looks wonderfully edible doesn't it?!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Love the wool pigpen, would make an amazing littlies dress!
Sounds like everyone has done a good job today.
I've not followed the list as such but since I last posted, I have washed up, done a wash load and hung out, made the littlies dinner, tidied upstairs clothes, hoovered through downstairs, picked up toys.......erm ordered myself a new electric toothbrush as mine brokesorted out a bank payment, made a payment off my CC, and I think I may have found a solution to my clashing nursery days too.
so knackered but have a friend coming over, hoping she won't stay late!0 -
Batch cooking paying off! Dinner involved heating soup I made at the weekend so have some time to clean.
Straightened and vacuumed living room as may have visitors tomorrow. Have cleared kitchen and dining room - windows open (freezing!!) and counter tops scrubbed down. Dishwasher on.
Weeks always start well - hopefully I can keep it up.
Just emptied every bin in the house. Kitchen Bin very smelly is it got a good wash out with bleach. Have taken a few loads of stuff upstairs where it belongs to try and make the place look less cluttered.
Will be the first to admit that today's flying has not been stellar - but overall not a bad start to the week. Haven't mopped the kitchen floor - but will get to it later in the week.0 -
everyone has been busy today...
I only did the basics in the kitchen in the end but I have been busy...
I changed all the bedding, washed and dried it. The dishwasher has also been on. I walked the dog and did paid stuff no1. I spent 20 minutes of my morning changing ds1's hospital appointments which wasn't an admin error. I have since found out that ds1 and ds2 have a hospital appointment after school on the same day as their school choir concert so that will have to be changed:mad: I will go straight to the consultant's secretary instead of the appointment's as it will be quicker. It says in ds1's sixth form planner that hospital and dental appontments must not be made during school time - easier said than done when ds1 has 3 hospital, 1 dentist and 1 orthodontist appointment before Christmas. Most are after school but not all...
ds2 has his first week at explorers today. He has to stay at least till October as I have paid for a district camp:)
pigpen your wool looks great
bossy what did you think of the artichoke? Trying new veg is a great thing to do and I wish I had done it when my ds's were small. They do eat veg but will only eat certain ones and won't try new thingssaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
I love artichokes anyway. DS nibbled and said it was nice but didn't want more. DD put some on her tongue then took it off again :rotfl:
I only ask that they try it. I'm not force feeding anyone. It's supposed to be fun.
We might do the alphabet actually, since we inadvertently started at A...Bossymoo

Pigpen - love the wool and when Bossy said about spaghetti it reminded me of the April Fool spoof Panorama did years ago about spaghetti growing on trees - it was brilliant !!
