Welcome back Nevaeh, fab news re auntiness FBO, lovely to see you Minerva and HollyH, and take it easy HollyH!

Gosh well done pigpen, you've done millions!

I've managed to do quite a bit of running around, after getting Roo ready and sorted for nursery, went to the city and exchanged May's cost for pants and socks and trousers etc. Bought some wool and some lunch boxes and bits in £ land. Then dropped some paperwork into accountants, fixed issue at work. Came home, put May down for a sleep, did some washing, hung it up and deep cleaned the ensuite!! It would appear small children have been tipping water out of the bath onto the bath mat, and the underside has gone all mouldy! Disgusting!!!! Have put it in a hot wash in the hope that it comes clean!!!

Will have to go and pick Roo up at 2.30, so won't get much else done until the littlies go to bed, apart from the Tosco shop that's being delivered. When small ones sleep, I need to tidy the kitchen and Hoover and steam clean the floor, tidy up the toys, wipe the work tops and so the DW, ive got s friend coming over later, I wonder if she'd mind if I stand and do the ironing whilst chatting to her.....

    Afternoon

    Welcome back returnees xx

    Washing out on line
    Whole house hoovered
    Hoover cleaned
    Kitchen cleaned, floor done
    Toilets bleached
    Shopping done and away
Recycling sorted and maggot bin out
I have had a MAJOR flying session in my office, at job 2 I know it is not in my house, but for me it counts, I have sorted out all of one corner, taken the boxes off the shelves re packed them and put back, result is now 10 empty boxes, (the size / sort you get lettuces in , in a supermarket) so these are now stacked in a heap to go to the tip card board container.
Other such detritus sorted out and sent to CS / bin / recycling.
    I even swept the floor!!

    Sandwich eaten
    Cat fed
    2 x ebay parcels posted.
The junk is going down honest
Now there is room in the car, a small number of spring bulbs in a bag with a trowel, for planting on my mother's grave tomorrow.

Afternoon all and a warm welcome back to the returners :hello:

FBO - sound like you had a great day. Congrats on becoming an Auntie and well done with the hot chocolate ;)

Pigpen - sounds like you're whizzing along today

Hope all the sprogs, especially the newbies, enjoyed their start back to school today.

Did the dailies and most of the kitchen. I need to sort/clean out the fridge later and then the floor.

It's a fine day here, for a change, so I am off for a perambulation down the promenade to Morrys for a couple of bits of salad for dinner. I might have a go with a new veggie too if I see something interesting.

Manic Monday: Kitchen and Dining Room!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
DD is home so time for me to check in before I start tea. I've been a bit busy since my last post, but I don't think I've crossed anything else off the list lol

I've cleaned out the wheelie bins, weeded/swept the pavement out front, cleaned my livingroom window, cleaned the brass on the front door and then decided to fill the cracks and drawing pin holes in the front door (inside and out) which lead on to me getting the sealant out and resealing around the front door. Problem is my sealant gun handle has just snapped so I need to go buy a new one. :( I'm hoping to get it all sanded down and repainted/stained this week as its my quiet work week and the weather forecast is dry and getting warmer. ;) I just need to find the paint & stain :o

    Left to do today:

    My list for today:
Dailies: dishes, S&S kitchen, S&S bathroom, dog walk
Sewing: Harnesses x 2 (need padding attaching once they've been washed to get rid of the stink), my bag
Washing: dog stuff (done his toys, now I need to do bedding etc), mats, cleaning cloths, clean cycle Run out of washing line room!
    Timetable x 2 for walls
    HGP jobs
    Accounts
    [STRIKE] Clean wheelie bins out[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Clean front of the house[/STRIKE]

Clean up your cooker hood and test your smoke alarms.
    Level 2
    Clear and wipe the counters.
    Wipe down cupboard fronts.
Wash a window or two, and the windowsills.
    Level 3
Wipe over the table, change the cloth if needed.
    Shine your sink.
    Sweep and mop the floors.

Okay, coffee finished, time to juggle washing, put tea on get on with some other jobs inside. DD has homework to do for Wednesday, so I think I'll get the timetables sorted on my laptop while tea cooks.

    Catch you all later

    Afternoon all
Welcome back to the 3 returnees, and welcome to the new Flybaby :T
Hope all Flykids had a good day at school.

I flew round the house this morning, collected DGD1 as arranged, did lunch for us all and then sat on the sofa with her for an hour, reading and watching CBeebies. DS1 was a bit cross that she did not have a sleep, but she would not be persuaded! We then spent an hour in the garden, planting bulbs in pots for indoors, emptying the big patio pots and rescuing worms. My new gooseberry and gooseberry are now occupying 2 of the pots.

First Old Wives meeting of the season this evening. 3 of the 12 members can't come tonight, so the beetle drive will be short and sweet, leaving more time for the fish and chip supper :D

ETA: wow pigpen, that wool is amazing! What are you going to knit?
And has your OH enjoyed college?
