(((Hugs))) Bossy. He not only lives on in your memory and your children. His memory also lives on in those who your lives have touched, even though we've never met and probably never will.

    morning,

well not having the best of days, had to get the two littlies out of the house by 7.40, which was helped massively by the fact they woke up at 4.30!!! I appear to have caught their stomach bug, feel awful. Have just dropped the kiddies off and climbed back into bed. Have so much to do though as have OH coming home tonight, and house is a tip downstairs. Hopefully I can sleep it off for a couple of hours and then do some bits.
    I need to:
    do a wash load
    load DW
    tidy lounge
    scrub downstairs loo
    clean kitchen sink
    hoover
    wipe work tops
    steam clean the floor!
    Not much then!

Anyway I'm going to try and get a little bit of sleep and I'll see you all later.

Updated list for yesterday in previous post - not as successful as Monday as the evening was mostly spent bed-building, but I did get a fair bit done. Football being on helped though as it gave me the motivation not to sit in front of the TV after dinner! So I did my

Morning all I've put the washing on fed the doggies and me that's it for now
  • Hi all x

Thanks to Bossy and Natty for the thread x

Can't believe it's Wednesday and I'm just getting in to post. I was off on Monday and did the whole total of nothing which was lovely! Yesterday I was off too but managed to do 4 loads of washing and blitzed the LR and Scullery. Working later so I'm trying to push on with the washing. One load already flung on line just about to fling another on and reload the machine.
I really need to find some sort of routine I feel I'm going round in circles achieving nothing.

HHC at 9.30 if anyone wants to keep me company?
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged

Hugs to the bossy family, I hope today goes really well bossy, I hoe little one has a fantastic time and comes home full of excitement after her first day. You will shed a tear anyway cos your little girl is becoming all grown up but I hope in the main today's tears are of pride and happiness in your little ones and the incredibly strong and brave family unit you make. MrBossy would be so proud of you all. He is with you in your hearts everyday.

Thanks for all the hugs and kind words :A

And hugs to yorkshirelass from another yorkshire lass *mwah*

Well no tears on planet bossy today! I held her in the playground - she was a little anxious as lots of kids had two parents with them. But once we got her bag and coat hung up she was fine. Proud moment when she read the welcome question herself, heehee, other parents had to read it for their kiddies :D anyway, upshot is, I had to pull her back for a kiss and I'm fully expecting disappointment when she sees me at lunchtime :rotfl:

DS also trotted into his new class without a care in the world *thumbs up*

piggers it's ages away but we have a training day in November and the kids want to go back to The Deep so maybe we could meet for lunch? X

Skim reading to check that no-one's having a melt down and as soon as I read that I thought, 'Hmm, sounds ideal for weed ....'

The little voice at the back of my mind said that, but I kept thinking that everything could be explained away until the past month when my suspicions got to the "Maybe I should phone the police?" stage :o

nicki - how scary was that. Hope you have recovered
The only bit that scared me was coming face to face with the burglar. That lasted all of 10 seconds max. Then I was just too p*ssed off at the cheek of him & the knowledge that something dodgy had to be going on next door for them to go through so much effort to get into the house. This in turn means we've been in danger from the activities going on as there have been numerous fires caused by cannabis farms & there have been shootings at houses around here due to drugs.

I do live in a nice area, but the few bad seeds are making it harder and harder for the nice people to stick around. Most people only seem to live in our road a year or so except for the ones who have been here for over a decade like me. :(

Bunbun- happy birthday to your ds1

Bossy - *Huge hugs* I agree with Pigpen. He's with you all.

Hugs, sticks, spoons & wishes to all.

I managed to get my order in an hour before the deadline and then went to bed by 9.30 last night. I think I was a little tired as I didn't wake up until 7am when DD text me from downstairs asking why I wasn't down :o That means I slept through a lot of the alarms on my phone although I apparently had a conversation with DD at 6am which I don't remember:o :rotfl:

I'm making the most of not having neighbours (or the police) next door and blasting my music which I haven't done for months. I've got it loud enough that even though I have the window open I can hardly hear the drilling from the other neighbours :D If DD was here she'd be telling me to turn it down so I'm making the most of it  And for a laugh I'm letting Zack choose the CDs, he chose Bon Jovi Crossroads, Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and now Maroon 5 Songs about Jane :rotfl:

The plan today is to get the dog harnesses repadded so he can be taken for a walk without the straps rubbing him sore. That is my priority for today. I don't really have a room of doom so I'm going to just tackle the whole of downstairs when I've done that as its looking a little rough after me working yesterday.

    My list for Wednesday:
