  • I saw this on another thread where someone was asking where to buy removal boxes. DONT BUY THEM! go to your local co-op or similar, ask them for old boxes and spend a whopping £1.50 on brown tape. Wrap anything breakable in your clothes. tip for anyone moving back to halls etc this month

Hi, Does any1 know where I could buy or get some new, cheap begginers violins?

    I live in UK, Manchester.

If you know where, please could you PM me or email them to me.

    Thank you.

http://www.elidatrading.co.uk/ have some good deals :)
  • Just a quick note that might be of interest to anyone looking for cheapish clothes prior to the start of the uni semester - New look have some nice jeans for 10 pounds a pair...I know other places do them cheaply too, but these ones are a decent shape and colour etc. Oh and of course remember you get student discount. 3 pairs for 27 pounds earlier, yay!

hope everyone who has had freshers' fair or is about to have it has grabbed lots of freebies - hope Glasgow's are good 'uns! Who says freshers' fair isnt for 4th years ;)
  • Hmm, should really sort out my desk

    Boo to uni I say!
I got food in my belly and a license for my telly

  • Hey, would it be possible for me to join too? This is a great thread!

Don't know if this has been said yet as haven't read all the posts (!) but a great way to make a bit of extra cash without noticing is getting you and any nice members of your family to put all their 5ps and 10ps (or even just 5ps) into a piggy bank...cash it in to the bank...at the end of each month this adds up to a nice little sum!

Ooh our VV has a dad! Silly I know, but she seems so sensible and grown up on here and when you call her "my daughter" I just picture a wee girl wearing a velvet dress running about a birthday party or something.

Yes, well obviously I have had way too much caffiene today!
